That background shapes how he approaches AI: not as an advocate for its adoption, but as someone focused on what responsible deployment requires. Bill works with organisations adopting or delivering AI solutions into regulated settings, ensuring they can demonstrate - not just claim - that their systems are safe, effective, and trustworthy. He works to ensure that any system put in front of practitioners or people who depend on services can genuinely be trusted - grounded in clear intended use and supported by evidence that holds up under real-world scrutiny.

Speakers
Kam Gill / Managing Director & Registered Manager - Walfinch Oxfordshire
I’m Kam Gill, Managing Director and Registered Manager of Walfinch Oxfordshire. I came into care from a different world entirely. I graduated from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff with a BSc in Dental Technology in 2000, and that’s where my working life began. Then life took a turn. I got married, had my children, and lived in India, where I spent some wonderful years raising my family. When the kids reached school age, I came back to the UK, and I ran a paper shop in Wales before moving closer to my parents and going back to dental technician work.
After about four years, I started taking on a bit of care work on the side, for a change. I quickly realised it suited me far better than benches and crowns ever had. From there, I moved into recruitment in care, then a full-time role in the office doing various roles, and completed my Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care.
Today I run Walfinch Oxfordshire, and I’m working towards my Level 7. What I love most is supporting the people on my team to grow and progress in their own careers.
