WORK BEGINS ON NEW STRATEGIC PLAN

Alumni, trustees, faculty and staff brought their energy and ideas to October community input sessions, the first step in the creation of a new strategic plan for the college.

The meetings officially launched a process set to culminate in the approval of a new plan by the Board of Trustees in April 2022.

“Having the opportunity to dream and plan together was so very energizing,” said college President Susanna Baxter. “We have taken the first steps toward becoming an even more vibrant, distinctive and student-centered institution.”

Helping to lead the sessions were team members from Credo, higher education consultants who specialize in working with independent colleges and universities. Their work is being funded by Callaway Foundation, Inc.
