Abgestimmt mit der Philosophie von LAGO Interior Life, die auf ein harmonisches Zusammenfügen der vitalen Lebensräume mit dem persönlichen Innenleben zum Ziel hat, haben wir LAGO INTERIOR MOOD entworfen. Es sind Vorschläge für Räume, die eine Geschichte, eine Persönlichkeit und eine Art der Auffassung der Wohn-und Lebensräume erzählen, aber auch das Leben selbst. Sie gründen sich auf eine Studie des Zeitgenössischen und dem Wunsch, die konkreten Bedürfnisse der heutigen Gesellschaft zu interpretieren, ohne dabei auf ein wenig Poesie und Ironie zu verzichten. Es sind Vorschläge und Lösungen, um Ihre Räume zu personalisieren und sie zu dauerhaften Orten der Inspiration zu machen und so Wohnräume zu schaffen, die Emotionen und hohe Lebensqualität vermitteln, die sich stets durch ein „Home Feeling” auszeichnen.

In line with the LAGO Interior Life philosophy, which aims to design dynamic spaces in harmony with our interior lives, we have created LAGO INTERIOR MOOD. Settings that tell a story, that express a personality and a way of understanding domestic environments and more, as well as life. These settings emerge from our study of the contemporary world and a desire to interpret the concrete needs of society today, with a healthy dose of poetry and irony. They are ideas and solutions for personalising your spaces and making them into places of constant inspiration, creating emotional, highly liveable settings always characterised by a ‘home feeling’.

DEVOTION HOME ist das Zuhause der Hingabe an die eigenen Leidenschaften und an die eigene Arbeit, die in die Wohnräume das Konzept von Aufmerksamkeit und Zuwendung einbringt, wo sich die vielfältigen Elemente zu einer harmonisch schwingenden Einheit fügen. Das Zusammenspiel der Elemente drückt sich durch eine chromatische Palette aus, die in linear angeordneten Farbabstufungen organisiert ist. Die für DEVOTION HOME ausgewählten Einrichtungsgegenstände drücken den Wunsch aus, ein ganz eigenes Ritual zu entwickeln und zu verfolgen, die vom Nutzer durch eine individuelle Zusammenstellung erreicht wird. Auf diese Weise ergibt sich große Vielfalt an Kombinationsmöglichkeiten, wodurch das fertige Produkt zu einem „Unikat” wird.

DEVOTION HOME: a home expressive of devotion to one’s passions and work, translating the concept of care and affection into domestic interiors, where the various elements all chime together in unison in a relationship of harmonic frequency. The chorality of the components is expressed through a colour palette organised in gradations of hues set up in linear order. The objects and complementary accessories selected for DEVOTION HOME express the desire to create and follow one’s own ritual, built by the user through a personal reorganisation, which can in turn produce a wide range of combinations, lending a certain ‘uniqueness’ to the final result.

CURIOSITY HOME setzt in den Wohnräumen den Wunsch nach Entdeckung und Veränderung um. So wie ein Forscher, der den Bereich „Wohnung” einnimmt, immer auf der Suche nach Antworten auf seine Zweifel ist, die das prekäre Gleichgewicht bedrohen und die ihn dazu bringen, eine Veränderung des eigenen Wohnraums zu suchen.

CURIOSITY HOME drückt den Wunsch nach Veränderung durch geometrische Dekorationselemente aus, mit strengen und modulierbaren Linien, die einen gewissen Grad an Individualisierung erlauben. Das Verhältnis Gewissheit/ Zweifel, das jeder Persönlichkeitssuche zugrunde liegt, wird durch eine Aneinanderreihung von regelmäßigen und schematischen Dekorelementen mit ethnischen Einrichtungsgegenständen ausgedrückt, die neue Inspirationen und Horizonte eröffnen.

CURIOSITY HOME: a home that translates the desire for discovery and transformation into domestic interiors. With the stance of searchers, the people who live in the ‘home’ space are motivated by the desire to find answers to the questions that undermine their precarious equilibrium, inspiring them to seek out a transformation of their own domestic space. CURIOSITY HOME expresses the volition to change through geometric, rigorous and modulable decorative elements that ensure a certain degree of customisation. The certainty/uncertainty relationship, at the foundation of personal searching, is expressed through the juxtaposition of regular, schematic decor with ethnic objects and accessories that open up new paths of inspiration and perspectives.

WISDOM HOME: a home about simplicity and authenticity, as well as a space that stimulates a constructive, harmonic rapport with nature, its colours and its textures. WISDOM HOME is the home of those with a state of consciousness and good sense through which they can establish a balanced relationship with the environment they live in, building it around themselves. The architectural spaces and furnishings are in easy dialogue with one another and this conversation produces the idea of a space made to host and welcome, cancelling out differences and distances.

Bei FOOLISHNESS HOME gibt die Phantasie den Ton an. Die echte, unverfälschte Weisheit kennzeichnet sich nicht notwendigerweise durch rationales Verhalten, das den Vorgaben entspricht und daher unfruchtbar ist, sondern durch eine vorausschauende, visionäre „Verrücktheit”. Es ist die Freiheit von Konventionen und auferlegten Regeln und Ausdruck einer einzigartigen und einmaligen Sichtweise seiner eigenen Person und der Welt. In the FOOLISHNESS HOME, the imagination rules. True wisdom is not necessarily equal to rational behaviour, conforming to premises and therefore sterile, but instead far-sighted, visionary ‘madness’. It is free from conventions and imposed rules and is the expression of a unique, original vision of itself and the world.

Foolishness as a vital, creative force, represented through the pairing of classic wall decoration in neutral colours and contemporary furnishings in bright hues, thus producing a sense of wonder and astonishment that stimulates the imagination and creativity.

Talking Furniture ist eine digitale Magie. Das Gedächtnis des Produktes und des Lebens, das darum herum abläuft. Die Idee gründet sich auf dem Punkt #5 unseres Manifests: „Wir denken an den Inhalt, um der Leere Leben zu verleihen”. Heute ist es möglich, das Smartphone an den interaktiven Mikrochip LAGO NFC anzunähern, um einen Dialog mit dem Tisch LAGO zu beginnen und grundlegende Informationen wie Name des Produkts, Materialien und Designer zu erhalten. Man kann aber auch weitaus interessantere Erfahrungen machen, wie die Ereignisse, die um diesen Tisch entstanden sind, mit Bildern, Text und Ton aufzuzeichnen, die Teil eines „Gefühltagebuchs” werden, um sich später an die Besonderheit einiger gelebter Momente zu erinnern.

Durch die gleiche Idee können Sie über einen NFC-TAG einer Küche von LAGO ‚streichen’, um Rezepte zu finden oder Ihrem Kind vor dem Einschlafen ein Märchen mit einem am Bett von LAGO Kids & young angebrachten TAG 20

vorlesen. Wenn Sie in einem B&B oder in einem Hotel übernachten, die mit Möbeln von LAGO eingerichtet sind, wird Hintergrundmusik vorgeschlagen, touristische Informationen geliefert oder andere Aspekte, die das Produkt oder den Kontext betreffen, in dem diese eingefügt sind. LAGO NFC ist eine neue Erfahrung zur bestmöglichen Nutzung aller Einrichtungselemente, egal ob sich diese im privaten oder öffentlichen Bereich befinden.

Mit diesem Projekt wird LAGO zum ersten Möbelhersteller der Welt, der ein bedeutendes und interaktives Erlebnis entwickelt, das an den Trend des ‚Internet of Things’ gebunden ist.

Talking Furniture is a piece of digital wizardry. It is about the memory of the product and that of the life taking place around it. The idea emerged from point #5 of our Manifesto: ‘We plan the solid to breathe life into the void’. You can now scan a LAGO NFC interactive microchip with your smartphone, to start a dialogue with a LAGO table INTERIOR LIFE BULLETTIN

and get basic information, like product name, materials and designer, but also to have more intriguing experiences, like storing the stories that have bubbled up around the table, using images, texts and/or sounds that then become part of an ‘emotional diary’ for remembering the wonder of a special few moments in time.

Thanks to this same idea, you will also find recipes when you ‘swipe’ the NFC tag of a LAGO kitchen and, in the tag of a Kids & young LAGO bed, fairy tales to help your child fall asleep.

If you are staying in a B&B or hotel furnished with LAGO products, you will get suggestions for background music, tourist information and other material linked to the product or its context.

LAGO NFC is a new experience for getting more out of all kinds of furniture, in both public and private spaces. With this project, LAGO is the first furniture company in the world to create an important and interactive experience connected to the Internet of Things.

EINE RÄUMLICHE UND ÄSTHETISCHE REVOLUTION. Polstermöbelsystems Air ist sein Verwandlungstalent. Rücken- und Sitzpolster sind untereinander austauschbar und verleihen der Couch ständig ein neues Aussehen. Große Aufmerksamkeit wurde besonders der Ergonomie und Nachhaltigkeit der Materialien und Verarbeitungsprozesse geschenkt. Die Füsse aus Glas verleihen dem Polstermöbel eine schwerelose Note.

We spend more of our waking hours in the office than at home. Our homes are carefully designed, comfortable and welcoming. Our offices are not.

What have we done wrong?

LAGO will eine Beschleunigung vorantreiben und verbreitete Gefühle vorgreifen. Will auf den Arbeitsraum die Erfahrung übertragen, die das Unternehmen bei der Planung des häuslichen Lebens errungen hat, und Arbeitsräume konstruieren, die so erdacht wurden, dass sie sowohl das individuelle als auch das kollektive Wohlsein fördern, ebenso wie die Effizienz des Verstandes und die emotionale Intuition. LAGO ist kein abgeschlossener Text. Es ist ein Alphabet: Werkzeug für die Planung sowie Zutaten mit Formen und Materialien, mit denen Unternehmen und Fachleute das Design der eigenen Einrichtung pflegen und diese auch mit der eigenen Art des Seins, des Lebens, des Arbeitens in Einklang bringen können.

In der LAGOFABBRICA, die wie ein Haus aus Glas und Holz gebaut ist, durchflutet das Licht der Abendröte die Arbeitsräume und bringt alles zum Fließen. Hier wird alles mit einem Lean Thinking produziert, einem schlanken Gedanken, der Standzeiten vermeidet und Verschwendungen reduziert, wodurch eine konstante Verbesserung sowie ein erschwingliches und personalisierbares Design ermöglicht wird. Die fortwährende Forschung im Hinblick auf die Auswirkungen, die jedes Produkt/jeder Service während seines gesamten Lebenszyklusses hat, erlaubt es, auf umweltschonende Weise zu produzieren, und zwar mit Farben auf Wasserbasis oder mit Materialien, die komplett recyclebar sind, wie das Glas. Dadurch entstehen aber auch Produkte, wie der Schrank Et Voilà mit einer Stofftür; oder Produkte, die reich an Kunsthandwerk und Authentizität sind, wie der Tisch Wildwood. Dank dieser Philosophie gelingt es dem Design von LAGO, Empathie zwischen der Inneneinrichtung und den Personen, die darin leben, zu generieren. Mithilfe des bereitgestellten Alphabets kann jeder die eigene Vision des Wohnens aufbauen. Es steht also nicht mehr das einzelne Produkt im Mittelpunkt, sondern das, was drum herum geschieht: das Leben.

At the LAGOFABBRICA, which is built like a home out of glass and wood, sunset floods into the work spaces and makes everything more fluid. Here we follow the Lean Thinking philosophy, which helps us to avoid dead time and reduce waste, achieving constant improvement and accessible, customisable design.

Our constant research on the impact of every Lago product and service over its entire life cycle lets us practice sustainable production, using waterbased paints and entirely recyclable materials, like glass. But it also inspires innovative projects like the Et Voilà wardrobe, which has fabric doors, and richly authentic artisan products like the Wildwood table. Thanks to this design philosophy, LAGO is able to generate empathy between interiors and the people who live in them, providing an alphabet that everyone can use to build their own vision of living space. The product is no longer in the foreground, but rather all that happens around it: life.

We wanted to expand the perspective of domestic space to all of the places where we spend our lives, and create a circular vision where culture generates profit and profit culture. In this context, design becomes a tool for social change through connections, culture and meaning.
