Overview:
Year 5 and Year 6 will be joining together for a fantastic trip to Camargue/France. The 6 day programme will include many exciting educational experiences and provide the children with opportunities to discover and explore. There will be a blend of tradition and modernity, nature and adventure, that will make this trip unique, varied and rewarding for all.
Day 1 - Monday 03.06.2024
Morning: Depart school by coach for France, passing through the ancient towns of Orange, Nîmes and Arles. Lunch en route.
Evening: Check in at hotel, dinner and bedtime.

Day 2 - Tuesday 04.06.2024
Morning Guided tour of Pont de Gau ornithology park in the heart of the Camargue region.
Afternoon Lunch followed by a river boat trip to observe wildlife
Evening Dinner and overnight at hotel
Day 3 - Wednesday 05.06.2024
Morning Guided tour of the city of Arles and its Roman remains followed by lunch
Afternoon Visit to the famous limestone quarries which supplied the stone from which the city was built.

Day 4 - Thursday 06.06.2024
All day Visit to Aigues-Mortes and its ancient fortress followed by a train trip through the salt flats between land and sea. Guided tour of a traditional horse riding centre.
Evening Traditional Camargue dinner and overnight at forest lodge.
Day 5 - Friday 07.06.2024
All Day Discovery day around the "Indiana River"
Adventure and Theme Park in the heart of nature.
Evening Dinner and overnight at hotele
