FOLLOW UP: NO OCCUPANCY PERMITS FOR EDEN GARDEN

This week we were contacted by a property owner in Eden Garden who said that he could not obtain an occupancy certificate from the municipality to move into his home as there still is no sewerage connection on the premises. We have in the meantime discovered that the sewerage station pumps were not removed by the Mopani District Municipality and that the responsibility to provide and maintain the sewerage infrastructure rested squarely on the shoulders of the Greater Tzaneen Municipality. ■ Roelof de Jonge The exclusive Craven Week rugby tournament for u/18 players will be moved to October this year given the current lockdown regulations. It is in fact the only national school’s rugby tournament in the world that lures scouts from across the globe to identify potential talent.

Last year the u/18 Craven Week was cancelled for the first time in its illustrious history of 50-odd years due to the lockdown regulations. In the last edition of the Craven Week tournament, Renzo du Plessis from the Limpopo Blue Bulls team scored a memorable 103m try that earned him instant popularity amongst the rugby fraternity. He ended up landing a contract after his school year in 2020 to study through, and play for, the Sharks Rugby Union.

This time however, the South African Schools Rugby Association (SASRA) are determined not to cancel the 2021 u/18 Craven Week which traditionally takes places during the July school holiday.

In a statement by SASRA on Monday the 7th of June, it was decided to rather postpone the event to the October school holiday with the full support from the South African Rugby Union (SARU).

According to SASRA, the full support from SARU entails the sponsoring and managing of the u/18 Craven Week tournament. The national rugby union is doing its level best to ensure that it is an endorsed event.

The new date of course is an extremely critical time for matriculants around the country and SASRA indicated that they are aware of the situation.

That is why this early announcement for this tournament was made, to allow learners responsible academic preparation time before the trial and

final exams start.

SASRA has also indicated that it will facilitate opportunities for these players to participate in supervised academic activities at night on off days. According to the management of SASRA, this entity will respect the decision of schools who opt not to play rugby during the third school term.

It did however note that the current situation is unfortunately not normal times and as an association, it is in salvage mode. Each of the provincial schools’ rugby associations will have to manage their own trial process to the best of their abilities within their specific context.

The provinces also indicated that they would like their teams to compete in the u/16 Grant Khomo tournament during the October school holiday. Shoprite fire cause still unknown

■ Joe Dreyer The exact cause of the small fire in Shoprite at the Crossings Centre that caused an uproar among the residents of Tzaneen last week, is still under investigation. Bulletin has spoken to the centre management in the meantime and have gained some more insight to the happenings on the evening. Initially it was reported that Eben Fichardt, the centre’s operational manager had extinguished the fire in the receiving bay before the fire brigade arrived. While this was true, it has emerged that the true hero who prevented the fire from evolving into a full out blaze, was the security manager for Urban Africa Security, Eddie Schaap.

Residents of Segabeng village in the Mogoboya area had this Sunday morning woke up to news that six people died while 16 were admitted to hospital following an accident in which an overloaded bakkie overturned. According to initial reports the driver of the bakkie lost control of the vehicle after a tyre puncture at the entrance of Naphuno farms at Letsitele Valley.

“We were busy dancing at a tavern when the establishment decided to close and we then got into a bakkie and left for Khopo and Lephepane where it was thought they might still be operating. We climbed into the bakkie and left for Khopo village and during the trip one of the vehicle’s tyres blew out which caused the driver to lose control over the vehicle at high speed,” said a survivor, Masilo Pudikabekwa.

“I think the fact that I am an amputee and have only one leg, saved me. I sustained injuries to my body only and thankfully nothing to my head or face. I did not want to go to hospital, but the paramedics said that I needed to be treated for shock.

This is despite the fact that the accident occurred during the national curfew when no vehicles should have been on the road and no taverns should have been operating.

In other news this week nine people were killed and six others escaped with injuries in a horrific accident involving a bakkie and a kombi. It is alleged that the two vehicles collided head-on, killing nine people instantly. The deceased included the driver of the VW Amarok bakkie and eight passengers from the Toyota Quantum kombi. The accident happened at Nwanetsi bridge next to Kubjwana village in Bolobedu along the Deerpark Road.

Five people were rushed to Van Velden Hospital for medical treatment. MEC Mavhungu LeruleRamakhanya has sent messages of condolences to the families of nine people who perished in the accident. She has called on motorists to be cautious and reduce speed.

He could not say how many people were hospitalised because the departure from the accident scene was in haste and the group lost track of one another. He added that when they left the second tavern, more people climbed into the bakkie as it was late which resulted in the vehicle being overloaded. He explained that the reason some people died was because the vehicle later rolled on top of the occupants.

The incident left the communities of both Segabeng and Khujwana reeling as all six deceased, as well as the injured, were from these small communities. Following the accident six people were certified dead by the paramedics at the scene.

Two years ago, a trip by a group of young men to a fuelling station ended tragically when the bakkie overturned and killed one person in the middle of the night next to Letsitele bridge. In June last year two people died after the BMW sedan they were traveling in, overturned. The deceased had just returned from Gauteng.

“We can’t move into our homes”

Some property owners in Eden Garden, a development along the Agatha Road on the outskirts of Tzaneen, allegedly cannot occupy their homes. According to one property owner who bought a package deal in Eden Garden, this is because they cannot obtain occupancy certificates until the sewerage, water and electricity connections have been installed and signed off by the inspectors.

An Occupation Certificate (OC) is compulsory for every building before occupation, as required by the National Building Regulations and Building Standards Act (1977). This is to show that all requirements have been met, and thus safeguards the owner. The OC specifies the type of building – freestanding, terraced, cluster complex, town house complex, apartments, or commercial buildings - and is required before water and electricity deposits can be accepted for newly built properties.

To obtain the OC from the municipality, a property owner will need approved building plans, any documents pertaining to rezoning, building line relaxations and other related documentation. The property owner will also need a completion certificate from a registered structural or civil engineer, for the foundations, concrete slabs, staircases, wooden or suspended floors, steel work, freestanding walls over 2.1m high, swimming pools and all structures built without prior planning permission.

On top of all these documents, the property owner will also need an IOPSA Certificate of Compliance (Institute of Plumbing South Africa), a glazing certificate, Electrical Certificate of Compliance, and a Fire Certificate.

The package deal mentioned by the property owner who spoke to Bulletin, was sold to him for more than R860 000 and included the stand, and a three-roomed house with a single garage. The house was built by Phethego Developments.

“We want answers here. Every month I pay R8 000 back on my loan to the bank for a house that I cannot live in. My family and I have to rent a home in Tzaneen while our home in Eden Garden remains inaccessible,” said the property owner. “I am in contact with the developer regularly. Last year he blamed the delay in the process on the Covid-19 lockdown which I kind of understood, but last week he told me that they had run into a challenge while trying to lay the pipes for the sewerage. He said that they will need to blast through heavy boulders. So far nothing is happening.”

Last week Bulletin reported that there were no pumps in the sewerage pumpstation meant to pump the raw human waste from the stands within Eden Garden, to the processing plant. We had received reliable information that the stands were not connected to the sewerage infrastructure which meant that the raw waste would be spilling into the stream running past the development, rather than being flushed to the treatment plant.

We asked the Greater Tzaneen Municipality (GTM) why there were no pumps in the pumpstation, and why development was allowed to continue despite this. Neville Ndlala, spokesperson for the GTM pointed the finger at the Mopani District Municipality

(MDM) and said that they had removed the pumps from the pumpstation for safe keeping.

Odas Ngobeni, the spokesperson for the MDM, refuted the claims and explained that in fact the maintenance of the water and sewerage infrastructure was not the responsibility of the district municipality, but that of the local municipality. The pumpstation was constructed by Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (COGHSTA), but the supply of sewerage services remained the responsibility of the GTM. “If they [GTM] are not able to assist, we will be able to step in and see where we can help,” Ngobeni said. “We need to investigate this matter and determine the way forward. If it is an issue of manpower, we can jump in and get the job done in little time, because it would not require budget adjustments. Currently we are nearing the end of the financial year and that means that it would be exceedingly difficult to assist financially in a project that was not budgeted for. The new budget has already been adopted,” Ngobeni explained.

Bulletin has sent an inquiry to Neville Ndlala, spokeperson for the GTM, to gain some clarity on the new information we received. Because of the public holiday on Wednesday however, we had not received any response from him at the time of going to print. We also attempted to contact the developer, Matthew Mhlongo, on his mobile phone for comment and clarity, but were unable to reach him. This is a developing story and we will publish new findings as the information becomes available.

Oor die afgelope drie jaar het hierdie spoedkamera langs die R71 net verby die Tzaneen Lifestyle sentrum, langs die selfde pad net verby Lushof, en ook op die Nkowankowa-pad verby die ou MacDonald’s padstal, boetes vir motoriste wat die spoedgrens oortreë het, verseker.

Bulletin het intussen gemerk dat hierdie kamera die afgelope tyd nêrens te vinde was nie en het met ‘n betroubare bron na aan die munisipaliteit gaan aanklop om agter die kap van die byl die te kom. Volgens ons bron het die munisipaliteit se vorige verkeershoof ‘n kontrakteur aangestel om spoedwetstoepassing deur middel van die “groen boks” kamera te behartig.

“Hoe dit gewerk het was dat die kontrakteur R86 per foto ontvang het. Dit was ongeag of daardie foto ‘n nommerplaat gevang het of nie. Die fotos is dan deur die munisipaliteit gebruik om die uitstaande boetes in te samel. Dit het egter nie verloop soos daar aanvanklik verwag is nie, want die kontrakteur is R1,5 miljoen ‘n maand betaal vir die foto’s, maar die munisipaliteit kon slegs R100 000 ‘n maand insamel. Op hierdie stadium is daar sowat R50 miljoen in uitstaande boetes wat nog ingesamel moet word,” het ons bron beweer. “Gaan vra die munisipaliteit, hulle sal jou sê.”

Verder het die bron bekend gemaak dat die kamera slegs vir 40% van ‘n skof gebruik kon word, maar dat die kamera daagliks sowat 12 ure lank gewerk het. “Dit was teenstrydig met die instruksies wat aan die verkeersdepartement deurgegee is. Verkeersbeamptes werk in agt-uur skofte. Die reëlings was dat die kamera drie ure hardloop per skof en die res van die tyd sou die verkeersmanne self die wette toepas. Dit het nie gebeur nie, so die kamera het party dae tot 12 ure elke dag gehardloop.” ‘n Maand terug, in Mei hierdie jaar, het Thapelo Matlala, die GTM se munisipale bestuurder die dienskontrak met die kontraketeur Mavambu, na drie jaar beëindig. “Dit was ‘n maand tot maand kontrak, en die groen boks is verwyder. Al die administratiewe prosesse gekoppel aan daardie spoedkamera is in lyn met die strafwet gewees, maar die munisipaliteit kon nie die boetes invorder nie, so dit het nie sin gemaak nie. Die verkeersbeamptes het ook nie hul werk gedoen nie want die kamera was daar.

Dit het opsigself ander probleme begin veroorsaak.”

Ons het navrae aan die munisipale segsman, Neville Ndlala, gestuur. Ons wou by hom uitvind of die gerugte van regstappe deur die kontrakteur teen die munisipaliteit enige water dra, en of die motoriste wat nog uitstaande boetes het, nog hierdie boetes moet betaal aangesien boetes na drie jaar geskrap word. Teen druktyd het ons nog geen kommentaar van hom af ontvang nie.

The illegal hawkers lining the R71 provincial road that passes through Tzaneen have increased in numbers since they were last removed a month ago by the Greater Tzaneen Municipality’s traffic department. This time however, it would appear as though one of the biggest mobile network providers on the continent, MTN, has “sponsored” some of these stalls with building materials.

Motorists noted with concern that some of the stalls were covered by large yellow MTN-branded tarps. To the motorists it appeared as though these were canvas tents supplied to the hawkers as part of some clever marketing tactic. “I would like to know from MTN what’s going on here because these stands are illegal and I truly hope that they are not involved in supplying those tarps to them,” said one anonymous caller.

Bulletin sent an inquiry to MTN’s marketing department to try and gain some clarity on the matter. We wanted an official response from the cellular giant on whether these

tarps were sponsored to the fruit sellers, or whether it could have been reappropriated by the hawkers from another site, unbeknownst to MTN. Given the national public holiday, we expected no response before our deadline, but we will follow up before our next publication.

In the meantime, it has been reported to us that at least four of these hawkers permanently live next to the R71 in makeshift shelters which double as stalls during the day. There are 28 of these stalls lining the R71 and each of them have at least three occupants manning the stations. There are no ablution facilities for at least a kilometre in either direction.

The GTM have been active in the removing of these illegal structures, but it appears as though they may be fighting a losing battle for as long as motorists continue to stop and support these hawkers. Bulletin has in the past spotted even traffic police vehicles stopping at these illegal stalls to buy fruit. The matter is being discussed in council and it is hoped that a viable solution will soon be formulated.

Local man shot dead

A local man was arrested on Friday evening after he handed himself over to the police in Ritavi following a shooting incident in Nkowankowa on the 12th of June. The man, Gideon Breedt (54) appeared in the Nkowankowa Magistrate’s Court on the 14th of June on charges of murder and attempted murder after he reportedly shot and killed Wessel Visser (30) and seriously wounded a 27-year-old woman believed to be his wife.

According to a report from the SAPS provincial spokesperson, Brig Motlafela Mojapelo, the police in Ritavi were contacted at around 19:30 on the evening in question when residents heard gunshots. Upon arrival they discovered two victims with gunshot wounds. Visser was certified dead

on the scene and the woman, whose identity is withheld at this stage, was rushed to hospital with serious wounds.

Breedt was taken into custody later that evening after he handed himself over. His licensed firearm was also confiscated. He appeared in court on Monday and was remanded in custody until the 24th of June when he is scheduled to reappear in the same court.

“The man allegedly shot his wife and another man after he found them together. It is alleged that he called them both out of the house where he shot them,” said Mojapelo. A case of murder has been opened.

■ Roelof de Jonge Deon and Adri Serfontein, better known as “Grimm” and “Tequila” amongst their fellow riders from the Chrome Motorcycle Club in Tzaneen, combined their expertise and passion for motorbikes to establish an exclusive motorbike workshop for Tzaneen and surrounding areas.

The GT Bike Workshop officially opened it doors to the public on Monday the 7th of June. The signature of the Serfontein’s workshop was taken from the Nicolas Cage movie, Ghost Rider, which also serves in memory of their fallen Chrome rider, Erens van Vuuren, who passed away in an accident on the 19th of February this year.

Deon has been riding motorcycles since he was eight years old and has been repairing motorcycles for almost his whole life. Adri has years of experience in financial administration, and together this formidable couple is adamant that they will soon establish GT Bike Workshop as the most referred motorcycle repair workshop in town.

Aside from servicing of all kinds of motorcycle’s, be it cruiser bikes, off-road scramblers, speed bikes or even quads, the Serfontein’s new workshop offers a park and sales service for clients. The workshop does however not sell spare parts, which makes them even cheaper to their customers who will source their own spares and simply pay for labour or a general service done to the bikes. Only on request from clients, will this workshop purchase the required parts needed for a service.

They will also offer a service to help sell your motorbike to potential customers either through a photograph sent to them over any of the mes-

senger apps, or by physically displaying your bike at their workshop. They will not charge you a fee, only a pre-agreed commission on the sale. Similarly, the couple will sell secondhand accessories like jackets, boots, saddles etc.

Speaking of leather; the Serfontein’s are proud to offer the service of a dedicated leather smith from Pretoria who assists them in creating leather seats and accessories according to the client’s preferences. Furthermore, GT Bike Workshop offers an emergency towing service if a client has a break down.

For repairs, purchases or just to pop in to enjoy a welcoming cup of coffee with Deon and Adri, the business hours of GT Bike Workshop are from Monday to Friday from 07:30 until 17:00 and on Saturday from 07:30 until 13:00.

The new road that links Boundary Road to the R71 provincial road at the Sasol filling station opposite Tzaneen Lifestyle Centre is officially open for traffic. Bulletin reported on the roadworks in May of this year and at the time Abrie van Rooyen, of Tzaneen Developments, promised that the road would be completed, and open to traffic before the end of June. True to their word, the road is complete with two weeks to spare. The only thing left to do complete is road markings and the tarring of the traffic circle. ■ Joe Dreyer President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed South Africa on the latest developments in the government’s approach to the Coronavirus pandemic on the 15th of June. Ramaphosa said that the so-called “third wave” had hit the country and drastic measures were to be put in place to curb its impact.

According to him, over the last seven days 7 500 daily infections were recorded. Hospital admissions were reportedly 59% higher in the last 14 days than the preceding 14 days and according to the reports, 791 people have died from Covid-related illnesses in the past seven days. All provinces except for the Eastern Cape are experiencing higher numbers of infections.

Limpopo, Gauteng, Western Cape, Free State and Kwazulu-Natal have experienced the highest increases in infections. “Within in a matter of days the rate of infections will pass the peak of the second wave in Gauteng,” he said.

After discussions with the Covid Command Council the government has taken the decision to move the country back up to Alert Level 3 with tighter restrictions on public gatherings being the main focus. Here are the new adjusted regulations: * The nationwide curfew will be from 22:00 - 04:00.

• All gatherings limited to maximum 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors.

• Attendance at funerals and cremations may not exceed 50 people.

• Sale of alcohol for onsite consumption only permitted until 21:00.

• Alcohol consumption in all public spaces is strictly prohibited.

• Mask-wearing in public spaces remains mandatory.

• Social distancing must be adhered to.

Ramaphosa said that a world-wide shortage in vaccines coupled with the initial AstraZeneca set back added to the country’s mass-vaccine programme rollout setback, but they have readjusted and received new batches of vaccines to bring the mass-vaccination back on track.

The total number of people in South Africa who have now been vaccinated is close to 2 million people at a rate of 80 000 people per day. Government’s plan is to increase the rate of vaccinations to 300 000 people per day. “I call on everyone in the country over 60-years of age to register for their vaccinations.”

Latest news doing rounds is that the Tzaneen police station had to be temporarily closed due to one of its members testing positive for Covid-19.

The Tzaneen police station will undergo decontamination. The station however stated the persons who require services from the SAPS can access from the supply chain management office

using the back entrance in Morgan Street near Standard Bank.

In what is termed a “name correction” process by the Limpopo Provincial Geographical Names Committee, Magoebaskloof will soon be renamed to “Makgobaskloof” once all the formalities have been finalized. In a press release issued to media houses this week, three public consultation meetings will be held, the first of which is scheduled for 08:00 tomorrow morning, Saturday the

19th of June, at Scholtz farm. The second of these meetings will be heard the following day at 08:00 at Politsi Primary School and the last of the public hearings is scheduled for Tuesday, the 22nd of June at 18:00 at the Magoebaskloof Hotel.

The public is reminded that written comments on the application to change the name of Magoebaskloof can be submitted via email to twalag@ sac.limpopo.gov.za and must reach the recipient by no later than Tuesday, the 22nd of June.

Die tawwe tienies draf Comrades virtueel kaf

“Dit was baie taai, ek’s gedaan. Dit was fantasties maar dit was beslis nie maklik nie”. Dit was die woorde van Cor van Heyningen. Hy was een van Tzaneen se atlete wie Sondag se 90km weergawe van die Comrades Marathon se Centenary Hope Challenge gehardloop het.

Effektief was dit ‘n virtuele geleentheid waarvan die werklike weergawe weens die Corona virus weereens opsy geskuif moes word.

maar liefs van ‘n deelname aan die Comrades Ultra Marathon vergeet.

Hy het tesame met sy dogter Tessa en hul ondersteuners soos duisende ander ultra-marathon atlete van regoor Suid-Afrika, en ander dele van die wêreld, aan die sogenaamde Eeufeeswedloop van die Comrades Ultra Marathon gehardloop.

Van Heyningen het die 90km Centenary Hope Challenge in ‘n tyd van 10:59.37 voltooi. Nog ‘n plaaslike atleet van Tzaneen Marathonklub wie vir die 90km wedloop ingeskryf het, Alicia van Zyl, het met die ondersteuning van manlief, Brent, die afstand in ‘n tyd van 10:19.15 voltooi.

Van Zyl het gesê dat haar man wel die 45km afstand van die Centenary Hope Challenge gedraf het en hy het die wedloop in ‘n tyd van 06:31.49 klaar gemaak. Die res van die wedloop het hy sy vrou tot by die eindpunt ondersteun.

Neill Kelder, ‘n atleet van Solidariteit Atletiekklub van Phalaborwa, het sy 90km tog Sondag vanaf Phalaborwa na Hoedspruit toe aangepak en met sukses voltooi.

Greta Bekker van Le Club sportklub op Tzaneen het weereens saam met haar vriendin, Busisiwe Nyabana, die 45km afstand aangepak. Bekker het in ‘n tyd van 05:08.00 die eindpunt bereik.

Nyabana wat ‘n tyd van 05:12.00 opgestel het, het egter gesê dat sy wel verder as die bepaalde 45km afstand gehardloop het en dat sy inderwaarheid 57km afgelê het.

Nog ‘n fikse persoon uit Tzaneen se geledere wie Sondag die pad aangedurf het vir die 21,1km roete van die eeufees Comrades, was Laerskool Tzaneen se leerkrag, Steven Cremore. Die onderwyser het sy wedloop in ‘n tyd van 01:56.09

Alhoewel tientalle atlete van Tzaneen en omgewing gehardloop het aan Sondag se eeufeesviering wedloop van die Comrades, het nie al die atlete amptelik op die Comrades se webwerf daarvoor ingeskryf nie en het hulle bloot vir die pret deelgeneem.

Vanjaar se afgestelde Ultra Comrades Marathon het nogal so ewe in die roemryke jaar van die Comrades se honderdste bestaansjaar gebeur. Vir gelowige marathon atlete is hierdie byna ‘n heiligdom vir hulle en die feit dat die coronavirus weer die oorsaak is dat vanjaar se Comrades Ultra Marathon weereens opsy geskuif word, was verseker ‘n bitterpil om te sluk.

Atlete was dus genoop om in klein groepies of alleen op hul eie roete aan vanjaar se Comrades Marathon Centenary Hope Challenge wedloop deel te neem.

Mense wat nie ‘n begrip het van padwedlope of marathons nie, sal dalk dink dat dit ‘n gekkespul is om ‘n mens se liggam so uit te mergel. ‘n Marathon-atleet spandeer ongelooflike lang ure, veral na uurs en oor naweke, om hul voor te berei en om te kwalifiseer om aan die Comrades Ultra Marathon deel te neem. Selfs vir die ondersteuners wie bankvas langs roetes by marathons hierdie atlete aanpor, is hierdie ‘n geweldige terugslag.

Dalk nie soveel as vir die organiseerders wie vanjaar se Comrades Ultra Marathon moes laat vaar het nie.

Opkoms by gholfdag laat akademie in die wolke ■ Roelof de Jonge Wolkberg Akademie het Vrydag die 11de Junie sy jaarlikse gholfgeleentheid by die Tzaneen Buiteklub aangebied. Hierdie is een van dié akademie se geldinsamelingsprojekte wat vir die skool aangewend word.

Bulletin het ‘n draai by die Wolkies se geleentheid gemaak en ‘n paar van die spelers afgeneem, met sommiges wat baie opgeruimd was om die dag op die gholfbaan deur te bring en ander wat meer ernstig voorgekom het soos hul gepoog het

om hul voorgee te verbeter.

Wolkberg Akademie se personeel en ouerbeheerliggaam het hul dank betuig aan elke speler wat die dag meegemaak het, en belangriker, die onbaatsugtige gebaar van die tientalle besighede wat onderneem het om die geleentheid te ondersteun. Dit te midde van die ontstuimige ekonomiese omstandigehede wat Suid-Afrikaanse besighede hul tans in bevind wat grotendeels deur die inperkings weens die Covid -19 pandemie veroorsaak is.

Letaba se tweedespan het Saterdag die 12de Junie teen die eerstespan van Mesinna Rugbyklub op sy tuisveld welkom geheet.

Die welkoming het egter net tot die afskop geduur soos Letaba ongenadiglik die drieë ingeryg het. Teen die tyd dat die skeidsregter skril op sy fluit die einde van die wedstryd aandui, was dit Letaba wat met ‘n klinkende oorwinning van 47-17 gespog het.

Messina was voorjare een van Limpopo se voorste rugbyklubs en spelers vanuit hierdie rugby geledere was geken vir hul klipharde spel. Die onbekostigbaarheid asook ‘n tekort aan spelers het Messina genoodsaak om aan die tweede-liga deel te neem.

Letaba het vanuit die staanspoor die pap dik aangemaak en die besoekers onder druk geplaas. Letaba se samespel tussen die voor- en agterspelers het verseker die druk op besoekers geplaas en hul deurentyd op die agtervoet laat bevind het.

Letaba se drieë is deur Sidwell Kubayi, Doran Kleynhans, Pieter Schutte, JP Vermeulen, Christo van der Merwe, Khulani Chabalala en Gideon Madiba gedruk.

Vermeulen het die stelskoppe waargeneem en hy het duidelik sy skopskoene saamgebring vir die wedstryd. Hy het ses uit sewe van die stelskoppe oorgeskop.

Slegs Letaba se eerstespan gaan hierdie naweek in aksie wees wanneer hulle die span van Noordelikes van Polokwane hier op Tzaneen verwelkom. Die wedstryd sal om 15:00 begin.

Messina se verdedigers was te laat om Letaba se Sidwell Kubayi te keer deurglip vir ‘n drie.

Sidwell Kubayi was weer een van die uitblinkers in Letaba se tweedespan in hul wedstryd teen Messina.

Doran Kleynhans van Letaba was onstuitbaar op sy weg doellyn toe.

Messina kon nie Christo van der Merwe doellyn toe keer nie.
