150 Wednesdays From July 5 – Aug 23, Ladysmith Parks, Recreation & Culture will offer Try-It Activities throughout the community. There will be 8 sessions in total – all being offered on Wednesdays. On August 30, we will celebrate the final day of 150 Wednesday with a community celebration at Transfer Beach. This celebration will include many activities from the ParticipACTION 150 Play List, such as: bocce, beach volleyball, scavenger hunt, ladder toss, hacky sack, capture the flag, outdoor ping pong, tag, potato sack racing and many other family outdoor games and activities. Therapy pool accessible by ramp; heated at 34°C (94°F) and has a shallow end depth of zero sloping to four feet (aquatic wheelchairs are available for moving from change rooms into therapy pool.) Whirlpool is a combination of turbulent air & 40°C (104°F) water pumped into the pool. Retro Cardio Core Step back in time and groove to a traditional style of choreography. Spend 45min getting the heart pumping while learning a routine to upbeat music.

You will spend the last 15min of class challenging your core strength and relaxing your body.

Saturday Spin ** This 45min non-registered class teaches you the basics of indoor cycling.

Yoga - Fitness Yoga is a wonderful way to stretch and relax the body. This class blends Hatha yoga poses in a Vinyasa Flow style. This class is suitable for most levels, but is advised to discussed any injuries with a doctor or the instructor.

Pickleball Tennis-like game played on a badminton court using a perforated ball and a smooth paddle.
