CCF NEWSLETTER

I started CCF in year 9 like all new recruits did We were the first new year of cadets to join after Covid restrictions were lifted

I decided to join as my friends were all joining together and it seemed like something fun to do once a week I had also heard from others in my school, in higher years that it was very fun, and they had learned many new skills I have now finished my time at CCF after 5 years in which I only missed 2 sessions due to injuries.

Cadets has led to me making my best friends all of who I still talk to and often have meetups either after cadet sessions or on holidays My proudest achievement was being the head cadet at CCF at the start of the year and achieving the highest rank of Cadet Warrant Officer I would suggest the CCF to all students no matter the preference or interest as we have amazing leading cadets that want to help every cadet improve and be the best they can be

Wishing all the best to Miss Lenox Smith, who is retiring this year.

Sharing her wisdom and experience, Miss Lenox Smith has been a part of the CCF for many years Her contribution has been valued by staff and cadets alike and will be missed

Thank you for giving your time to CCF!

Adult Volunteers Welcome!

CCF runs every Friday from 16:10 to 17:45.

We know that committing every week isn't realistic for everyone, and we certainly don't expect it.

There is no need to attend every Friday or to go into uniform, nor is previous experience of Cadets necessary.

Whether you can help weekly, monthly or once a half term, any time you can give would be greatly appreciated. Every extra pair of hands makes a real difference.
