INSPIR SOLAR CELEBRATION Arriving in a melt-in-your-mouth palette of warm terracotta, rich gold and electric azure that illuminates the Mediterranean in late Spring, La DoubleJ’s latest “Solar” homeware collection is a celebration of the most vibrant season of rebirth, and of the primordial power of our most spectacular energy source, the sun. Inspired by the intricate mosaics and rich color contrasts discovered on a trip to Seville last Spring, each item arrives crafted by the finest artisans in Italy, from 18K-gold-trimmed platters and porcelains to hand-blown Murano Vases, all intended to elevate your entertaining state.

WE’VE USED THIS ICONIC SYMBOL SUBTLY, BUT IN A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT WAYS THAT SHOW THE WAY THAT SUNLIGHT IS REFRACTED INTO DIFFERENT FREQUENCIES. THE SUN IS SUCH A POTENT ENERGY SOURCE. DEEPER MEANINGS ASIDE, I JUST LOVE THE HAPPINESS AND VERSATILITY THAT THIS COLLECTION BRINGS. IT CAN ADAPT TO ANY SET UP, SHADE, CONDITION - IT’S WARM AND UPLIFTING JUST LIKE ITS INSPIRATION.” J.J. CHEERLEADING FOR CRAFT Crafted in collaboration with the finest and most historic artisans, the pieces in this line arrive with the precision and quality care that La DoubleJ homewares have now become known for; the painted 18k-gold bands circling the Bubble Vase, disappearing from its base and neck like cosmic ripples; the sculptural finish on the new Quilted Glasses, each hand-blown by the artisans at Salviati in Venice; the intricate Iraca Raffia Placemats, individually hand-woven by Colombian craftsmen in partnership with Artesanías del Atlántico. Showcasing the exceptional artistry of their makers, every item is designed to deliver the same love and joy that was painted, woven or molded into its creation.

CULTIVATING CONNECTION The culture of celebration shared across the region speaks directly to La DoubleJ’s mission of bringing people together in joy and community. With this in mind, the Milanese joy brand launches the new Oval Platter, its first “family style” dish designed for sharing and memory-making. Alongside the accompanying Como-woven table linens, Venetian-blown glassware, and hand-woven raffia Placemats, this collection delivers the most complete LDJ dining experience to date, cementing this collection’s status as the “star” around which all our other homeware families are invited to play.

DESTINATION

ANDALUSIAN OPULENCE What started as a research trip through Andalusia last April quickly evolved into a full-blown inspiration exploration - the light, the architecture and the festive atmosphere of the region, catapulted by the existing “Sunrays” design from LDJ’s previous “Mamma Milano” line, sowed the seeds of the next collection. The same saturated sky blue and burnt sienna hues found in Seville’s Plaza de Toro can be found across the flamed-trimmed “Ra” Charger Plate, while the graphic geometric designs found on the “Apollo” Soup & Dinner Set evoke tilework found in classic palazzos, each perfect pieces for layering with pieces from one’s own home. The fan, an iconic accessory across Spain and Italy is expanded across the “Feria” Dessert Plates in cornflower and navy colorways, like rays radiating from a central star. Joining these new designs are already iconic LDJ patterns, reimagined in this electric color palette - the aforementioned “Sunrays”, inspired by the 18th-century mosaic found in Palazzo Belgioioso arrives this season across Dessert Plates, Cups and our heroine centerpiece of the season, the Bubble Vase, like a celestial body exploding in an inky night sky.
