Celebrating Motherho0d

The moment a first-time mother lays eyes on her newborn is a truly magical experience, filled with a mix of emotions of love, wonder, and awe.

Being a mother is something incredible. As Rosie Pope would say, “If you ’re a mom, you ’re a superhero. Period.” Moms are basically heroic role models to all of us. Loving and taking care of us since we were tiny umans.

Motherhood is the state of being a mother. Everyone has totally different experiences being a mother; sleepless nights, setting aside your needs, self-doubt. But one thing in common is the overwhelming love they share. The most important job in the world is being a mom, because without them we wouldn’t know how to love, care and look after one another.

Their love is something we can’t take for granted. Love from a mother is so deep that it is unconditional. It feels endless and you could only feel in your heart.

Mothers’ love provides a sense of security, safety and comfort, like the cozy blanket we use to tuck ou into bed.

It changes a woman mentally and emotionally. They have the most important jobs in the world but definitely not the easiest. Let’s always remember to thank and kiss our moms thank you for all the sacrifices they have made for us. We love you mom! xoxo

having a big contribution to society, we have mother’s day to celebrate! Where kids would make tiny handwritten letters, give chocolate and squeeze their moms with a big hug to show how much they appreciate the loving figures of their lives. For every woman, motherhood marks a new chapter in their life.

“Just because my dreams are different from yours, it doesn’t mean they’re unimportant. “ - Meg March (Emma Watson) This line, and the entire movie itself, teaches us to embrace your uniqueness. Embrace your independence, your strengths, and your dreams. This film empowers women to strive to be more than just the picture perfect women, but to go out of societal norms and write their own story.

Hidden Figures Hidden Figures

This film highlights 3 black mathematicians carving their way in a male-dominated field of aeronautics and space research, as they struggle with racial and gender discrimination. Society mostly has never acknowledged the role of women in scientific advancements, however, Hidden figures shows that women bring lots of contribution to the history of technology This movie truly empowers young women out there to strive for their endeavours in the STEM field.

Embracing my passion for beauty on social media. It was a big step, as I’d always felt insecure about my skin due to struggles with acne since elementary school.

But in high school, I decided to confront my insecurities and started sharing makeup and skincare content, including reviews and tutorials. This journey led to my first collaboration with a prominent beauty brand—a milestone I’ll never forget. Now, at 20, I continue creating content and am frequently approached by brands and KOLs for partnerships. Since starting at 17, this journey has been one of growth, self-acceptance, and achievement.

I've achieved the highest recognition and appreciation as Movers Facilitator for successfully delivering 3 Movers Workshop on Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs), soft skills, and Global Citizenship module from United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Indonesia. Even though I have many challenges, but I prepared it so well and the workshop went smoothly. It was a pleasure to interact with the speakers, talk about insightful things, and give the benefits for our audience. I really wanna come up with a new topic of environment.

Winning Puteri Remaja Indonesia 2024! After months of hard work, perseverance, and personal growth, I’m beyond proud to have earned this title. In addition, I’ve been actively advocating for youth empowerment through my organization, Youthpath IDN, which I founded to provide a platform for young people to share their voices and create positive change. It hasn’t always been easy, and there were times when I questioned whether I was capable of handling the responsibility. But seeing the impact I’ve made and the opportunities I’ve been given to inspire others, I’m incredibly grateful for the journey so far and excited for what lies ahead.

Last September, my friends and I from the organization I’m proud of, Plan to End Violence, successfully held our first giving-back event at Rumah Singgah Lentera Pejuang Kanker. We are grateful for a meaningful collaboration with singer Paul Partohap, who shared joy through songs and fun activities, and with KULA, which provided products for the parents of children with cancer. The children truly inspired me with their strength and resilience. Their smiles and energy reminded me to appreciate life and to embrace it. We made this possible thanks to the many people who also value and wish to spread happiness to others, especially to children with cancer who are so full of hope. It’s our shared purpose and commitment that drive us forward, inspiring us to bring moments of joy..

Breaking Boundaries: Leading a Korean Exchange Program Recently, I had the opportunity to serve as the PIC of a Korean exchange program at my school, working with two peers and other dedicated student council members. Organizing this program within just one month was a challenge, but it pushed us to step out of our comfort zones and take on new responsibilities. The program aimed to bridge cultural understanding, and I’m proud to say it succeeded. Students learned about Indonesia's culture and traditions while building meaningful connections. Seeing their enthusiasm and growth reaffirmed that our collective efforts were worthwhile. This experience taught me that challenges, no matter how intimidating, can lead to meaningful achievements. I hope to inspire others, especially young women, to embrace challenges and trust in their ability to create positive change. Don’t be afraid to try you are capable of more than you realize.

Winning 4 gold medals in the Science and English Olympiads. Achieving this wasn’t easy; it required countless nights of studying, revising, and solving problems. There were moments when I felt exhausted and uncertain, but I kept pushing forward, knowing that every challenge was an opportunity to grow. I am incredibly proud of this achievement because it represents not just the medals, but the dedication and sacrifices I made along the way. Each medal is a reminder of the hard work, the doubts I overcame, and the growth I experienced. With this achievement, I want to inspire other women to embrace their strength and step beyond their comfort zones. Our potential is limitless. Every courageous step we take, no matter how small, brings us closer to the extraordinary lives we deserve. Step Out of Your Comfort Zone, and Find the Best Version of Yourself.

Reading one of my book lists and being able to get through hundreds of pages in one day, which was unusual because I was usually only able to get through 5-10 pages and then not read it again the next day. As someone who rarely reads a book (I swear the last time I finished a book was 5 years ago), this was a huge record for me, and I'm certainly proud of it, which I'm going to continue until I reach the end of the chapter!

After years of debating whether I was 'good enough' to start posting my art, I thought what was the worst that could happen? And finally went for it! Through Reddit I have now done a few commissioned portraits and I'm so glad people think my art is worth paying for.

I once participated in a modern dance competition at SMA Kolese Gonzaga, Jakarta. I’m very proud of my accomplishment because I can expand my knowledge by meeting a lot of great and expert dancers from different schools. I struggled a lot actually when I participated in this competition because I had to learn a new choreography at a very tight time. But even though I have a lot of activities, such as student council meetings, being a part of youth organizations, and committee activities at school, I still set aside my time to practice the choreography at school and rent a dance studio two to three times a week. Although I went through a lot of obstacles while preparing myself for this competition, I’m proud that I can attend this competition.

Winning a dance competition with my teammates! After several failures and defeats, we finally managed to win 1st place in the Viridescent Cup 2024. The journey to get here was not easy. We spent countless hours rehearsing and brainstorming to come up with the best ideas for the competition. This achievement will always be engraved in our minds and hearts. I am so grateful to my teammates and my coach, who are determined never to give up and always put maximum effort into our team. I am proud of us, and I will always love you, A(mate) hood!

My experiences in international Mun events and how they shaped her into the woman I am today. Inspired by Emma Watson's campaign for women's rights, I began to start my self improvement. I want to be able to speak confidently in front of many people. Junior high school was my first time knowing Mun and time passed. I participated in the Asia Youth International MUN and Jakarta International MUN. This event allowed me to meet people from diverse background. I learned how to communicate persuasively and diplomatically and combine diverse ideas. MUN also exposed me to the need to take action on global issues and collaborate with open minds. This experience has shaped me to continue being passionate about my self-development and being confident in raising my concerns for social issues.

As the week went by, schoolwork and small tasks started to pile up again. Homework, presentations, projects I instantly felt overwhelmed by the thought of it, especially group projects where I became the leader. And recently, that seemed to be the case. The teacher assigned us a group art project about 3D installations. I felt pressured if this art project didn’t come out as expected because it meant I let down the other members. The thought kept spiraling through my mind, as my friends and I slowly processed the painting we decided to make. I stopped overthinking it and just let myself trust the process. In the end, the painting turned out to be great and everyone seemed to love it!

Being a saman dancer at my school's graduation ceremony. I trained quite hard for 2 months for that. When I appeared, I was quite nervous because many people and also the head of the education department watched it!. I can overcome my nervousness well. We dance like we did in practice and I'm proud because I can do things that previously made me nervous!
