Let the sweetest season begin.

The Christmas festive season is one of our favourites. Such a beautiful magical time where special memories and moments are created. A time to celebrate with family and friends, each with their own traditions. This is our favourite time of year where we see joy amongst our kids, friends and community.

Our High Summer range sees some of the sweetest outfits for this festive season.

We extended the boundaries by joining our classic hand crochet with our cotton woven to create a gorgeous body suit and dress. These are seen in our favourite blue palette, featuring our stunning forever bloom print. Our new navy stripe short knit overalls are a must this season. Knitted from 100% cotton, these are breathable in the upcoming warm summer season.

We haven’t forgotten the special women in our life. We’ve created four beautiful options for you this season. A beautifully shaped gingham and navy maxi dress, an easy wearing jersey stripe cross over dress, and a black crochet dress that’s perfect for throwing over bathers or wearing over a slip. I can’t pick my favourite from these four, each have a different feel I think I’ll need them all! We’ve topped off our womens high summer collection with a natural hand made crochet bag, perfect for the beach or morning markets.

And guess what... you’re favourite chunky santa sacks are back! These flew out the door last year, so we suggest you get in quickly! Available in grey and natural, these are classic colours that will style beautifully with your Christmas decorations.

Christmas gingerbread Gingerbread is a must on Christmas day in my family. The fun of decorating with the kids brings joy to my face

INGREDIENTS 125g unsalted butter 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup golden syrup 1 egg 2 cups plain flour 1/4 cup self raising flour 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

330g icing sugar, plus anything you want to decorate with. we suggest food colouring for the icing, cachous and pearls

METHOD preheat oven to 180°c. line 2 baking trays with baking paper

beat butter, sugar and syrup together in a bowl until creamy. add egg and beat well. sift flours, ginger and soda together. stir into butter mixture. turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead lightly until smooth. roll our to 5mm thick. use cutters to cut out shape. transfer to tray.

bake for 10-12 minutes until light brown. transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

to decorate; prepare the icing mix following packet instructions. colour as desired and spread on biscuits. now let the fun begin and decorate however you’d like (get the kids to help with this)

Christmas spritz It’s not Christmas day without a refreshing cocktail for the adults

INGREDIENTS 45ml Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin 45ml Prosecco 1 wedge of fresh lemon 3 strawberries to garnish lemonade

METHOD fill a large wine or stemless glass with ice and add Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin, prosecco and lemonade

add a squeeze of fresh lemon

chop strawberries into quarters, garnish and enjoy!
