LCT’s Mission

At La Crosse Community Theatre, our mission is to honor and celebrate our rich theatrical heritage while establishing a sustainable foundation for the years to come. With collaboration as a cornerstone, we are a dynamic, educational, and visionary force shaping the destiny of our community by adapting to the ever-changing arts landscape and showcasing excellence in local community entertainment.

What is a Friend of LCT?

For six decades, LCT has been a cornerstone of entertainment, education, and inspiration in La Crosse and the surrounding region. However, the world of theater is as challenging as it is enchanting. To continue our mission and enhance our impact, we need reliable sources of funding that allow us to plan ahead with confidence. This is where the Friends of LCT come in. By pledging to donate at least $1,000 a year for three to five years, you will become an invaluable part of our extended family, providing us with the stability and resources we need to thrive.

By becoming a Friend of LCT, you are not just supporting a theater; you are investing in the cultural vibrancy and artistic richness of our community. Your dedication will help us continue to inspire, entertain, and uplift hearts through the power of live theater.

LCT expenses cover not only the cost of the LCT productions but also includes the employment of 9 full time employees, 6 part time employees, LCT’s growing Education Program, the operations and upkeep of the Weber Center for the Performing Arts and so much more.

2022 - 2023 Season Revenue In the fiscal year 2022-2023, the unwavering support of our generous donors played a pivotal role in sustaining La Crosse Community Theatre’s mission and artistic endeavors. Donors, who pledged their commitment to our cause, accounted for approximately 37% of our total revenue during this period. However, it is hard to predict how much we will recieve each year, so planning for the future becomes more challenging.
