Parque Intercomunal de LaReina This is one of the biggest recreation parks in Santiago and covers more than 110 hectares. It contains more than 45 tree species, picnic areas with barbeques and tables, a skating area, children’s games and play area, a cycle track, and a small train, among others.

Se trata de uno de los parques recreativos más grandes de Santiago, con una extensión de más de 110 hectáreas. Contiene más de 45 especies de árboles, áreas para merendar con barbacoas y mesas, y áreas para patinar, juegos para niños, y pista para bicicletas, entre otros.

Phone Box Pub Situated on a busy shopping avenue in Providencia, this friendly pub is most famous for its entrance: a traditional English phone box. Although it offers British flare, the Phone Box Pub offers a Latino and rustic atmosphere.

Paintings by Chilean artists, posters by Dali and Miró and caps of imported beers cover the walls.

Establecimiento situado sobre una calle transitada de Providencia, este simpático pub es famoso por su entrada: una tradicional caseta telefónica inglesa. Aunque ofrece platillos británicos, el Phone Box Pub presenta un ambiente latino y rústico. Catedral de Santiago It has been in the same spot since 1541, when Pedro de Valdivia made the plans of the city, though it has been destroyed numerous times by earthquakes. In 1745 the present building was modified and built by Joaquín Toesca using baroque and classical styles. Its two towers were completed at the end of the 19th century.

La Chascona The house of Pablo Neruda was built in the neighborhood of Bellavista in 1953, and they baptized it with the name of the “Chascona”.This name went in honor to its secret love, Matilde Urrutia, who later became his third wife.

La casa de Pablo Neruda fue construida en el barrio de Bellavista en 1953, y fue bautizada con el nombre de La “Chascona”. Se le dio ese nombre en honor a su amante, Matilde Urrutia, quien luego se convirtió en su tercera esposa.
