The story of Eula, the Square Cat, by Elizabeth Schoonmaker, was translated to Spanish and became an art installation. Early childhood is important in La Casita’s dual-language programming and literacy through art. Our Manos preschoolers explored colors and textures using great masters as models to create their own masterworks in mixed media. El aprendizaje a edad temprana incluye programas bilingües y alfabetización a través del arte. Los prescolares del programa Manos exploraron colores y texturas utilizando modelos de grandes maestros para crear sus propias obras maestras en medio mixto.

ORQUESTA SU Setnor School of Music alumna, Rebecca Phillips, instilled the love of violin in her young students Heidy Rodríguez Gómez and Miranda Norona.
New program by local artists Daniel Yost & Liamna Pestana taught the principles of acoustics and instrument building using recycled materials.
