As the son of Steve Gound, I grew up witnessing firsthand the wonderful people, innovation, and quality craftsmanship that have defined our company since 1925. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to serve Labconco professionally as a Board Member, Executive Vice President and now President, which has shaped my viewpoint of what makes Labconco truly exceptional: our people, our partners and our customers.

As a result of our long-standing commitment to sell exclusively through distribution, our organization is specifically built to support partners throughout the sales process and create a seamless, high-quality experience for customers. Still Fans of the Spectrum Blower

Whether a new lab space or replacement fume hood, the exhaust fan must be addressed.

The Spectrum Exhaust Blower provides the perfect solution for any fume hood and has simplified the blower selection process for everyone. The 1-horsepower models have an excellent performance range to support the exhaust requirements of hoods up to 8' wide and prepared for either 115V OR 230V, single phase electrical circuits. The 2-horsepower models, available in 230V (Single or three-phase), have an extended range to provide the needed CFM for 8' and wider fume hoods.

Expanding Research with Safe and Efficient Lab Spaces A large nonprofit academic research institution recently unveiled 45,000 square feet of new laboratory space to support its groundbreaking work. As part of the project, the facility integrated 19 Labconco Protector ® XStream® Fume Hoods, along with several floor-mounted models.

The expansion increased their lab capacity by over 60%, allowing researchers to safely tackle complex challenges across disciplines such as immunotherapy, computational biology, and vaccine development.

Abzena’s Rapid Growth in Biopharma Manufacturing Abzena, a fast-growing contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), expanded its operations to meet increasing demand for biologics and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).

At their San Diego Lusk Facility, Labconco’s Logic®+ Class II, Type A2 Biosafety Cabinets (BSCs) have become an integral part of critical processes, including master cell bank preparation and inoculum expansion.
