YOU-HONG, LIOU ABOUT

YOU-HONG, LIOU 劉宥宏,1995年出生於彰化,大學畢業於彰師大企管系,研究所 畢業於彰師大行銷與流通管理所。大三時,參與了多系聯合活動 的籌備,這也成了設計對他的啟發點。看著團隊夥伴逐步漸進完 成各類文宣品,領略到做出具統一性及美感的事物,是令人興奮 的過程。為了實現對設計的追求,並開始自我探索,透過不斷樹 立目標讓自己日益進步。

除了設計外,行銷與廣告領域也是他感興趣的。行銷在任何領域 都不可或缺,且與生活息息相關。行銷能讓品牌引人注目甚至扣 人心弦。當建立設計審美後,他了解到行銷與設計相輔相成的重 要性,因此期許自己能透過行銷與設計,讓創意滲透在自己與他 人的生活中。

Leoh, born in 1995 in Changhua, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Department of Business Administration and Master’s degree in Department of Marketing and Logistics Management from NCUE. In his junior year, he participated in the preparation of a multi-departments joint activity, which became the inspiration of learning design to him. He realized that making something with unity and beauty was an exciting and fulfilling process while watching his team partners gradually complete various marketing materials. To achive the pursuance of design, he started to explore and set goals himself for making progress.

BOUT In addition to design, Leoh is also interested in marketing and advertising. Marketing is closely related to people’s lives and is indispensable. Brands can catch people’s eyes, even touch their hearts through marketing. Leoh realizes the importance of integrating marketing with design after building esthetics himself. Eventually, he expects himself to enrich others’ lives with creativity through marketing and design.

ATTI_ “MAMBA MANTALITY”

曼巴精神為球星Kobe Br yant在職業生涯中,對籃球所秉持的態度。 Kobe表示,一件事情重點不在於成功,而是追求成功的過程展現出熱 情、執著、自我要求、不懈和無懼之精神價值,它就是一種生活的態度。 對於熱愛籃球的我而言,曼巴精神對我影響甚遠,尤其在我做事態度上 。無倫在甚麼領域道理都不改變,對自己要求並盡自己所能去學習去做 ,這變成了我人生中的重要信仰。

Mamba Mentality is an attitude to basketball which Kobe Bryant had upheld throughout his career. Kobe said that, the point is always not about the achievement itself, it’s about being passionate, obsessive, relentless, resilient and fearless during the process you’re pursuing achievement, it’s a kind of attitude to life. For basketball fan like me, Mamba Mentality has influenced me a lot, especially on my attitude toward work. No matter which field I specialize in, Mamba Mentality always makes sense for me, reminding me set self-requirements and do my best, which became an important belief in my life.

「Stay Hungr y, Stay Foo lish」 。 Ste ve Jobs這席話,對我有如醍醐 灌頂。除了做事態度外,做事動力對我而言對我而言也是格外重要的。 做任何事總是需要目標,目標會使人飢渴,並產生動力去執行。當目標 執行度越困難,此時我擁有的動力也越大。從無到有學習設計是一個極 大的目標,但也因為我對這件事夠飢渴,使得我能堅持去做。此外,做 任何事保持謙虛,藉此確保自己能夠傻傻地去學習,不讓自己設限。

“Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish.” The words from Steve Jobs just enlightened me a lot. In addition to attitude, motivation is also very important to me. It always takes goals to 2do anything, which could make people hungry and motivated to execute. For me, the more difficult the goals, the more motivation I get. Though learning about design from scratch was a big goal, I could keep doing with strong eagerness. Furthermore, being modest against everything is the way to make sure myself to learn without limit.

彰師大桌遊社為了提升桌遊週活動參與,欲透過有別於以往的活動視 覺來吸引更多注目。新活動視覺包括海報、社群封面、工作人員衣著、 工作證以及活動獎勵的徽章。為了能使人一目了然,使用與桌遊直接 相關的物件作為主視覺元素,另外也使用箭頭象徵遊戲進行式和玩家 順序。配色上使用紅藍對比,使視覺感受上更為活潑、強烈。

In order to promote the par ticipation of board game week , NCUE B oard Game Club expected to get more attention by improving the visual of activities . The items of the new visual included posters , s ocial media cover, st aff ’s clothing, the identif ic ation c ards of club members and the badges as game rewards . The object s related to board games which could make people recognize it immediately, were us ed as element s of key visual; moreover, the arrow was t aken as the symbol of player ’s order and the dynamic of the game. The colors , red and blue, were us ed in this c as e, to make people feel lively with pas sion.

佈局英語 Brand Identity 2019

佈局是一個橫跨英語面向且熟悉多樣學科本質的專業教育團隊。團隊 師資以認知科學為教學設計的理論基礎,各領域的學科知識為內容, 來進行以英語學習為軸的授課,以期學生在學習英語同時能夠參與豐 富的知識饗宴。

溝通,是語言最基本也最為重要的功能之一,有了溝通便增進我們與 人事物更多互動,兩者相輔相成。佈局認為透過語言引領人們拓展視 野和人際關係,因此以方向作為基礎,雙向形成互動,而多向的產生形 成連結而延伸,象徵著人脈和見識的擴展。標誌樣貌採"BG"設計,因其 不僅為佈局之英文縮寫,也類似中文讀音"佈局"。

Bridging English is a team of lectures who are familiar with multiple as pect s of English and the nature of variet y of subject s . B as ed on the theories of s cience cognitive, they endeavor to teach English by sharing knowledge of different f ields . Since communic ation is the most basic and impor t ant function of a language, and both of thes e t wo are complement ar y, it may be hard for us to interact with each other without communic ation. In Bridging's opinion, language is the way that could lead people to widen the horizon and build up connections . B as ed on the concept s above, we choos e "direction" as an element with which t wo directions constitute interaction, and multiple directions compos e the formation of connection. The outline of the logo was designed as "B G", not only bec aus e it is the abbreviation of Bridging, but als o bec aus e it s ounds like the pronunciation of Bridging's in Chines e ("佈局").

迷霧小鎮 Brand Identity 2018

Size Poster_ 297×420 mm

迷霧小鎮為彰師大熱音社成員所組織樂團。為了日後展演宣傳及社群 網站架設因此需要標誌設計。在概念上,以名稱縮寫MV結合小鎮房屋 意象做發想,並因應樂團需求以簡潔俐落的方向設計。字體則選用較 具人文感字體,搭配適當間距,營造寂靜沉穩及難以捉摸的感覺,呼應 樂團形象及曲風。

Mist y Village is a band which consist s of members from NCUE Hot Music Club. They need a logo for both promoting their per formance and s ocial media needs . The concept of the logo is about combining the name “MV ” with the town housing imager y. In respons e to the band’s requirement s , the logo was designed in an even concis e way. To repres ent the band’s image and genre, the humanist t ype was us ed with t ailored word-spacing, creating the feeling of stillnes s and int angibilit y.

There are always many obst acles in life. We c an f igure it out only if we face it actively. The punch means that we should keep ours elves moving on by turning frustration into energy.

“這些人好像不曾存在一樣” 。香港人民為真相發聲,卻受到肆意無理的 拘捕,最後以不為人知的各種形式被自殺,消失在五里霧中。 “被自殺”為一個統稱的概念,以”被跳樓”的形式作為象徵,訴說一段死 亡過程並非只是我們看到的那樣,背後更存在許多不可告人的陰謀。

“ Thes e people just never s eem to exist .” What Hong Kong citizen had done was all about speaking for the truth, but they just suffered from being arrested arbitrarily , looked like being forced to suicide in many ways , dis appearing forever. “B eing forced to suicide” is a general concept which means a c auce of death wasn’ t only like the way we s ee, but the conspiracy behind the truth. “B eing forced to jump off ” is a format us ed in this poster to expres s that human right s being pers ecuted.

面對是一場全球性的人道災難,台灣向全世界演示面對疫情該有的作 為。即使被屏除在世衛之外,仍期望以一己之力為世界做出貢獻,在危 難當前,和世界共同面對。 以”戰疫”作為精神象徵詞,搭配文字排版強調台灣能有所幫助,同時也 呼籲防疫措施的重要性。

Facing a gl obal humanit arian dis aster, Taiwan has demonstrated to the world what it could do during the epidemic outbreak . Despite being eliminated from WHO, Taiwan still expect s to st ay with the world and make contributions for others under the c at asphone. The words “戰疫” was a spiritual symbol us ed with t ypographic layout , in order to enhance the fact that Taiwan is helpful for others and the impor t ance of prevention from epidemic.

2020.06.06台灣歷史又寫下新的篇章。高雄市民行使自己的權利,將 尸位素餐的韓市長下架,同時也體現了民主的價值。 海報主題強調對於前任高雄市長韓國瑜的不滿,並以反諷方式搭配文 字編排呼應主題。

卡片的正面使用了些和聖誕節相關的元素像是馴鹿、冷杉、槲寄生等, 並加這些元素和祝福詞句做適當的排版。同時新年也即將到來,所以 也設計 "流星通往心" 的意象,象徵著心想事成。在卡片背面則是設計 一個將聖誕樹上裝飾放大的意象,同時闡述著我們對這個節日需要了 解的意義為何。

在情侶三周年卡片中,以數字3作為主視覺,並各取雙方最常與對方說 的一句話作為修飾元素。印刷上採用孔版印刷,可使色彩濃度使對比 效果不過於強烈,另外,孔版印刷更能突顯部分疊色的視覺效果。

玉山洋酒 Packaging 2020

Size Wine Label 200×80 mm

包裝重設 針對玉山洋酒現有包裝進行分析及改善,以提升其給人的視覺感受。 來源,使整體包裝觀感更能和該酒類有所連結。

正面 1 產品以中文名稱強調,然而這種類高粱酒的包裝呈現無法呼應洋 酒本身氣質。 2 濃度數字大小粗細與容量並不統一,呈現凌亂感。 3 背景圖片無法使人與該酒種進行聯想,視覺上顯得衝突。 反面 1 字體大小、自間距不一 2 版面編排凌亂無主次關係,雜亂無章 改善後 1 名稱以歐文字為主中文為輔,較符合洋酒格調。 2 將正反面資訊整合使版面簡潔,此外整體主次關係也更為明瞭 3 以簡約幾何視覺取代圖片,藉此呼應洋酒的純淨爽口。點構成的圓 圈,象徵味道的發散。此外,根據酒類之原料及其口感意象作為配色 參照來源,使整體包裝觀感更能和該酒類有所連結。

Repackaging To enhance people’s visual feeling, YU SHAN WINE’s packaging should be redesigned according to the following analyzes .

Front side 1 The product name c an’ t be emphasized eff iciently in Chines e bec aus e this kind of packing (such as S orghum) doesn’ t accord with the s ens e of wine. 2 It s eems dis ordered that the font size and thicknes s of ABV numbers were inconsistent to volume numbers . 3 The background picture has no connection to the product it s elf which s eems abrupt . B ack side 1 The font size and word-spacing were not united. 2 The layout is dis ordered and it ’s hard to f igure out the relationship of primar y and s econdar y. After rede signing 1 The product ’s English name does accord with the s ens e of wine more than the Chines e one does . 2 C ombining the information of front and back sides makes the layout clearer. Moreover, the relationship of primar y and s econdar y just looks more obvious . 3 The picture was replaced by concis e geometr y in respons e to the pure t aste of wine. The circle compos ed of point s means the spread of the t aste. B esides , the colors are us ed on the basis of the materials and t astes of wine, which make the whole packaging have more connection to the wine.
