Location

M site is located in the center of Rainham village. It is currently gated and serving no purpose to the community and slowly becoming a dumping ground for the office besides this land. Despite surrounding residential areas, there is very limited access to the land with only one small entrance.

Site Analysis

Through my research I have discovered that there are a mass of residential areas surrounding my chosen site. Despite there currently only being one entrance to the land I aim to open up this enclosed area to the surrounding residentials. The site is located in the centre of Rainham village to help attract visitors. There are multiple fast-food shops and restaurants surrounding the site, attracting customers to visit after eating.

Site Location

The decision to create an art gallery stems from the fact that the local community lacked a creative space where artists could showcase their work and the community could engage with and appreciate local art.
