AXONOMETRIC DRAWINGS

The following presented ‘axonometries‘ form a story of the degradation of natural environment resultant from our collective unawareness. Through the lense of the five primary emotions - sadness, fear, anger, disgust, and frustration - are explored to showcase the emotional experience of humanity’s role in the ongoing degradation of our planet.

FEAR | PERSPECTIVE

Unlike bees, hornets can sting mutiple times with precision. Hornet poison contains neurotoxins and histamine that can trigger severe allergic reactions in people. If the symptoms is severe it is mandatory to seek medical attention. Humans tend to associate emotion with obejcts. We provide meanings and defintion to things and associate with physical and emotional comfort provided in the situation.

ANGER | DEER FAMILY

When I was 12, my cousin used to own a deer farm in the forest. I made quick friends with the deer family as I was allowed to feed them ocasionally. Everytime I visited them I was able to feel the gesture of them opening up to me gradually. I learned that they are intelligent creatures that felt and communicate just like humans. After few years, trees were chopped down and the deer family never showed up again.

DISGUST | 5 MINUTE MEGA CRUNCH

Fat, crusty, and juicy. Full-sized cockroach with pickled centipede salad. Taste the mesmerizing juiciness of our organic vegitable fed roaches. Disgusted? Insects are being consumed by about two billion people around the globe. About a a quarter of the world population practices entomophagy (eating insects). As the global population exponentially grows every year, food scarcity has been worsening. Insect is known to be the alternative protein source as they contain 35% ~ 60% of their body weight.

FRUSTRATION | IDENTITY

Do you travel around the world a lot? Different places around the world uses different voltages and currents. Depending on the voltage if you want to charge your electronic devices, it is important to have a voltage convertor or even the chrager with the equivalent voltage. It is essential to have either of those items with you, when you are traveling to somewhere with different outlet.
