ROYAL ADELAIDE GOLF • The roots trace back to an early “Adelaide Golf Club” founded in 1870 – but that original club folded a few years later. • The current club was founded on 11 August 1892 by 32 members. The first competition was held a couple of months later, on 8 October 1892, in what is today the North Parklands. • The club moved a few times (initially to a nine-hole course at Glenelg) before acquiring land near Grange in 1904. Eventually, this land at Seaton became home. • The “links at Seaton” officially opened on 30 June 1906. • In 1923 the club was granted the prefix “Royal” by approval from King George V, becoming “Royal Adelaide Golf Club.” • A major milestone came in 1926 when the celebrated golf-course architect Alister MacKenzie reviewed and reworked the layout – reshaping it to integrate the natural sand dunes into play rather than circumvent them • Over the decades, various changes were made, but the original link-style, dune-based character remained. In modern times (since around 2012), golf-course designer Tom Doak and his team at Renaissance Golf have overseen renovations – refining bunkers, realigning tees, widening fairways and rebuilding some greens – often lauded as bringing the course even closer to MacKenzie’s vision. The Course – Layout & Character: • Royal Adelaide is an 18-hole private links golf course. • Par is 72. From the back (Blue) tees the length is 6,552 m (approximately 7,160 yards). • The terrain reflects its links heritage: rolling sand dunes, native grasses, pine framing, “waste” sandy areas, pot bunkers, grassy swales and subtle ground undulations. • The course changes character with the seasons – in summer it plays firm and fast, highlighting the links roots; in spring (and in wind or native rough conditions) it can test shot-making and strategy. • There are multiple tee sets catering to different skill levels, which means the course can offer both a friendly experience for regular play and a stern championship test when set up hard. Prestige, Championships & Status The Royal Adelaide Record: • Royal Adelaide has hosted the Australian Open nine times, with the most recent being in 1998. • It has also played host to the Women’s Australian Open (first in 1994, and again in 2017) among other major tournaments. • Over the years it has hosted the Australian Amateur Championship many times (and other state/national tournaments • In rankings, it remains among Australia’s elite courses – as of 2025, it's listed 9th in Australia. • Its combination of classic design pedigree (MacKenzie + links-style), natural landscape, and refined modern upgrades give it a strong reputation globally among classic golf courses.

2026 Adelaide Golf Invitational Even more on the big Five! GLENELG GOLF CLUB • Glenelg GC was established in 1927 (originally laid out from 1926) by architect Herbert 'Cargie' Rymill. The first 9 holes opened in 1927, with a full 18-hole course soon after. • In 1947 – after some of the club’s land was acquired for what became the nearby airport – the course was reconfigured under architect Vern Morcom to adapt to the changed terrain. • A major, transformative redesign began in 1998: the club engaged design team Crafter + Mogford Golf Strategies (led by Neil Crafter in partnership with tournament-promoter and longtime member Bob Tuohy) to renew the course – clearing overgrown vegetation, rebuilding bunkers, changing turf types, and restoring more of a “links-style” feel. • By 2004 the major works were complete, and since then Glenelg GC has continued to make incremental improvements under a course-enhancement plan. • In short: Glenelg has evolved deliberately through the decades – from its original 1920s layout, through mid-century reconfigurations, to a thorough modernization designed to emphasize links-style charm, sustainability, and strategic golf design. Here’s what defines the golf course today: • Glenelg is an 18-hole private championship course. Par is 71. According to recent data: from the back tees (Black), the course plays at a rating of 74, slope 139. • Its fairways are Santa Ana couch grass, and greens are bent grass – a smooth, premium putting surface after the redesign. • One of the course’s most distinctive features is its reverted-edge bunkering – the pot bunkers with their steep faces and sand filled in a way that evokes classic sand-belt or links-style courses. Many greens and fairways feature these, giving a strong strategic and aesthetic character. • The site occupies 49 hectares. The terrain uses natural undulations: fairways are gently rolling, there are wetlands, some native vegetation, and stands of pine trees (especially around “Pine Hill” in the middle of the property), giving variety and character to the layout. • The course demands accuracy and good shot-making: because it's not extremely long compared to modern “bombers”’ courses, success depends more on precision – placement off the tee, thoughtful approach shots, and good short-game. Here’s what people frequently praise about Glenelg GC: • Classic links-style feel with modern standards. The redesign brought back or emphasised traditional elements – bunkering, open fairways, strategic hazards – but paired them with high-quality turf (couch fairways, bent greens) and good maintenance. • Conditioning & turf quality. Many reviews highlight how well the course is maintained: greens roll true, fairways are firm and forgiving when needed but offer good challenge. The ongoing enhancement plans have helped elevate surface conditions. • Strategic and varied layout. The mixture of bunkers, subtle elevation, wetlands, pine-lined corridors – plus the compact footprint – demands a thoughtful game. It’s not about overpowering the course, but playing it well. • Environment & character. The club has invested in native vegetation, wetlands, and biodiversity – making it more than just manicured turf. This gives a more natural feel and helps maintain local ecosystems. • Club facilities & atmosphere. From clubhouse amenities (bar, bistro/restaurant, pro shop, practice greens, driving range/shortgame areas) to member culture – many describe Glenelg as welcoming, personable, with a good balance of tradition and modern convenience. • Glenelg reached a new high in recognition: in 2024, it was ranked #32 in the national “Top 100 Golf Courses” list by Australian Golf Digest – the highest ranking in its history.

THE GRANGE GOLF CLUB • The Grange Golf Club comprises two full 18-hole championship courses – the “East Course” and the “West Course.” • The club has a long history: the original course opened in the 1920s. Over time both courses have been significantly redesigned to meet modern standards and offer a high-quality championship-level golfing experience • The club offers more than just golf: there are substantial facilities – driving range, practice nets, multiple putting and chipping greens, a pro shop, clubhouse with bar/restaurant, locker rooms, and even a gym and physio clinic • In short: The Grange isn’t just a course but a comprehensive golf facility. East Course • The East Course was redeveloped in 2012 by Greg Norman’s design team. • It features a layout that begins on relatively flatter ground for the front-nine, then transitions into “prime golfing land” on the back-nine – offering more undulation, natural terrain, and character. • The bunkering and green complexes are more modern and nuanced compared with the West – bunkers, swales, undulating greens, false fronts, collection bowls or drop-offs, which add subtle challenge to approach shots and short-game. • The East tends to be a bit “tighter” and more technical – fairways are often narrower than West, especially around landing zones, demanding accuracy off the tee. • On some holes, water and wetlands come into play – for example, small ponds or wetland-adjacent areas threaten certain fairways or approaches. • Because of the tighter landing areas + tricky greens, this course rewards precision, good iron play, and course management over raw power. West Course • The West Course has older origins (first opened in the 1920s/1926) but underwent a major redesign in 2007 under Mike Clayton Golf Design • The layout features wide corridors, pine-tree lined fairways (Callitris and Monterey pines), native grass rough and sandy wastes. • Green complexes are more classical: tight greens, bunkers placed to catch both bad and slightly errant shots, and undulating ground around greens that make for interesting short-game challenges. • The West course tends to feel more “classic” – tree-lined fairways, more forgiving width off the tee (especially compared to East), but still demanding accurate approach shots and short-game. • Because of the wider corridors, power off the tee helps – long hitters may enjoy the relative forgiveness off the tee compared to East. • The greens and bunkering reward precision – good iron play and well thought-out approaches shine, but mistakes around greens (wrong side of slope, bunker-heavy misses) can be punished. • The combination of classic layout + recent redesign means the West offers a mix of tradition and modern standards.

LINKS LADY BAY GOLF • Links Lady Bay is a public-access sand-based links-style course located on the Fleurieu Peninsula an hour’s drive south of Adelaide (near Normanville / Lady Bay). • The course was designed by Jack Newton, along with Graeme Grant and John Spencer – their only “from-scratch” links-type project, built on former farmland. • It opened in stages: the first nine in 1998, and the full 18-hole layout was completed around 2000. • The course is part of a resort complex, making it a “stay-and-play” option – good for a golf getaway. • In short: It’s a modern Australian links course with coastal character – structured to give both challenging and enjoyable golf, and accessible even if you’re not a local club member. • Links Lady Bay is firmly built as a “true St Andrews / links-style” course: sandy soils, sand-based fairways/greens, coastal plain terrain, natural undulations, native-vegetation framing, and design features that embrace wind and ground-game rather than forced carry over heavy rough. • The routing is interesting: two loops of nine holes radiate from the resort clubhouse, with each hole changing direction from the previous. That means the wind can come at you from any compass point – a classic links trait that demands a strong feel for wind and strategic shot-making. Course Specs • The course mixes hole types: there are generous fairways and reachable par-5s that reward distance, but also shorter par-4s and tricky par-3s that demand accuracy, imagination, and course-management. • Because wind, variable lies, and subtle ground contours come into play often, the challenge shifts daily: what’s easy in calm weather may become a stern test in wind or firm conditions. True Links Resort • Links Lady Bay isn’t just about golf: it’s part of a resort. There’s a clubhouse, pro shop, practice facilities (driving range, putting / chipping greens), and the resort offers accommodation – spa-suites with views over the course/ocean. 2026 Adelaide Golf Invitational Final note from Denise & Kim – your tour hosts ABOUT THE ADELAIDE GOLF INVITATIONAL The 2026 Adelaide Golf Invitational is a pairs event – your pairing can be any combination of male or female. If you are flying solo, we can find you a partner. The competition is played over five rounds of fun and competitive golf where handicaps change daily, and each player’s daily score contributes to the pairings overall score. Points are scored under the PaR nz Points System™. Maximum course starting handicaps apply, 28 for men and 36 for women. Over the five rounds we will put you with your partner twice and mix you up for the other three rounds so you get to meet others in the group. All play is in carts except Royal Adelaide which is a walking only course unless you require a cart for medical reasons. The Invitational will be limited to 16 pairs. Fun prizes will be awarded daily, and we will announce overall winners at our Farewell Dinner. Individual bookings for additional items including but not limited to airfares, rental cars, accommodation and golf bookings that are supplied by third parties are according to the terms and conditions of that third party as advised at the time of booking. In booking your tour or travel with us, you agree to these General Booking Conditions and the payment schedules for the respective tour for deposits and final payment amounts. • All terms and conditions including payment schedules are set as per supplier terms which have become more stringent and, with limited, if no, flexibility after the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition: • All golf tee bookings currently held can only be confirmed closer to the actual travel dates, when advised by the supplier. In exceptional circumstances, changes in times or courses may apply. • Handicap limitations may apply at some courses. • The currency listed in the payment schedule includes local taxes. • Some international services may change in exceptional and unforeseen circumstances. • PaR nz reserves the right to adjust costs if the government taxes including GST, tourism taxes, local taxes and service fees of the hosting country change. PaR nz is aware of the rights of consumers and will at all times comply with all obligations and requirements of the laws of New Zealand as they apply to PaR nz and are relevant to any booking completed in accordance with these General Booking Conditions. GENERAL 1. PaR nz reserves the right to change the programme and function venues based on advice at the time. 2. PaR nz reserves the right to change golf courses and venues to that which is advertised providing a replacement of a similar standard is substituted. 3. All travellers are responsible for any damage to hotel & golf club property including any damage in hotel rooms and / or golf carts. 4. PaR nz accepts no liability, cost or penalty for any loss to any client as a result of the failure for any reason of any third party to provide services that may be included in terms of any booking made under these conditions. 5. For accuracy, General Bookings Conditions as stated at the time of booking with your payment are the conditions for which you have agreed. 6. PaR nz reserves the right to decline registrations for any programme. A decline of registration would be exercised in exceptional circumstances only and after due consideration. 7. All events, tours and tournaments hosted by PaR nz will be conducted according to the COVID-19 protocols advised by the respective Government of the countries where the event is being hosted. These protocols are subject to change at any time. 8. All golfers play on each course under their own responsibility towards others and all equipment. TRAVEL RISK & TRAVEL ADVICE & INSURANCE 9. All travellers registered, travel at their own risk. 10. PaR nz, sponsors, hotels, host golf clubs and other suppliers of goods or services accept no liability for any death, injury, property loss or damage incurred during or arising out of any aspect of the conduct of the travel arrangements, tour or tournament. 11. PaR nz strongly recommends comprehensive medical and travel insurance is taken by each person travelling to cover all eventualities, including all hospitalisation and medical evacuation. PaR nz suggests that all travellers check the maximum pay-out restrictions and age parameters on their policies. 12. All travellers are responsible for their own travel documentation being valid and current – i.e., Passports, Visas and health documents where required. 13. PaR nz recommends all travellers refer to their Ministry of Foreign Affairs in their relevant countries and destination countries for general travel advice and COVID-19 or other specific advice. You can register your travel plans with the Ministry so that you may be more easily contactable in an emergency. 14. PaR nz strongly recommends that you familiarise yourself with the current status and updates of New Zealand’s and Australia’s immigration and border controls (or your country of travel origin) so that your travel documents comply and you have taken the appropriate insurance for protection. 15. In addition, PaR nz suggests each traveller familiarise themselves with airline requirements around passenger safety including the requirement for facemasks and the need to produce vaccination certificates or proof of vaccination along with negative COVID-19 tests during transit and at the final destination. This information is subject to change at any time and it is recommended that you update yourself at the time of booking and at regular intervals up to and during your travel.

16. You acknowledge that you are choosing to travel at a time where you may be exposed to COVID-19 and that your travel plans maybe impacted by COVID-19. It is your own responsibility to familiarise yourself with all relevant travel information, including health risks and travel restrictions, (covering border closures, quarantine and isolation requirements). 17. You acknowledge that your decision to travel is based on your own consideration of this information and that you agree that you are aware of, and assume responsibility for, all the risks associated with travelling at this time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PaR nz accepts no liability in relation to any of these additional risks. Bookings that are supplied by third parties are according to the terms and conditions of that third party as advised at the time of booking. HEALTH 18. You must ensure that you are fully aware of any personal health requirements, and recommended precautions or vaccinations relevant to your travel booking, and ensure you carry all necessary vaccination documents. 19. Acceptance of these terms confirms that you are in good physical and mental health and able to travel, including on the proposed travel dates. 20. Acceptance of these terms acknowledges that you have the necessary golf skills / handicaps for playing the included golf, (unless travelling as a non-golfer). 21. For all travellers, PaR nz strongly suggests checking with your medical practitioner regarding all recommended, and required, immunisations and injections for each country visited. PUBLICITY, PRIVACY AND ELECTRONIC DATABASE MARKETING 22. PaR nz acknowledges your privacy is important. PaR nz will not share your personal information such as address, email and phone number with other clients or third parties without your consent or knowledge, and / or authorisation. Note that as needed passport details will be passed on where PaR nz is organising on your behalf, to secure hotel rooms, airline bookings, visas and other bookings where personal data is required by suppliers. 23. PaR nz may arrange media promotion and publicity before, during and after a tour or tournament. Competitors assent to references to them and pictures of them appearing and being used for purposes determined by PaR nz. 24. By registering to travel with PaR nz, you agree to being added to the PaR nz database and to receive electronic communications including email newsletters, electronic flyers, and materials as may be sent by post, including specific updates as they pertain to the travel you have just registered. CANCELLATION BY YOU THE TRAVELLER 25. First deposits are non-refundable at all times. 26. Subsequent deposits and final balance payments are non-refundable at all times. 27. All payments are non-refundable, and dates are non-transferable, so PaR nz strongly advises all travellers to take out travel insurance in the event they are unable to travel. 28. There are no refunds for any services where you cancel after the tour start date. PAR NZ CANCELLATION 29. In the unlikely event that PaR nz has to cancel or postpone the tournament or tour or custom travel due to exceptional circumstances. Refer the Force Majeure clause. 30. PaR nz cannot be held responsible if the golf course cannot be used because of weather conditions or unknown scheduled changes at the golf course. In all situations, faced with possible last minute situations, PaR nz will attempt to provide a fast and acceptable solution or alternative. FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE 31. In the unlikely event that PaR nz, is forced to cancel the tournament or tour or custom travel because of exceptional circumstances outside of its control, PaR nz will offer alternative arrangements: A. Offer a postponed date or postponed arrangements B. Alternatively, where PaR nz can retrieve funds from suppliers for bookings made on your behalf, PaR nz may transfer your funds to another tour or tournament or may be in position to offer refunds. C.. The options are all subject to time frames that may or may not be within PaR nz’s control but at all times PaR nz, unreservedly, looks to be fair and reasonable with all clients providing funds paid on your behalf can be retrieved from PaR nz’s suppliers. DISCLAIMER 32. PaR nz has made every endeavour to ensure that all details are correct at time of printing but cannot accept responsibility for subsequent change or withdrawal of prices, details or services shown. DISPUTE RESOLUTION 33. The laws of New Zealand govern this General Booking Condition document. In the event that there is a dispute regarding a booking, PaR nz in the event where the matter cannot be resolved may appoint an independent arbitrator.
