You are invited to come see what Girl Scout camp has to offer! For any girl 5-18 and her family. Everyone is welcome. See the accommodations, walk around camp, meet some of the staff and volunteers, and learn about some of the programs you can do at camp. Spring High Adventure

Time: Overnight

Planned and run by the Bluegrass Teen Leadership Council. Adventure activities such as climbing on the tower, ziplining and canoe by day and an evening program planned by the TLC. For ages 13 and up.

Time: Overnight

Weeklong and three-day sessions for campers ages 6-16. A variety of sessions will be planned and will be posted on our website mid-January of 2024.

Ghoul Scouts Encampment

Join us at Camp Judy Layne for a weekend of not so spooky Halloween fun at our Second Annual Ghoul Scouts Encampment! Bring a costume, enjoy a night hike on the haunted trail, and join in Girl Scout traditions All girls will earn and receive the Shapes in Nature badge.

Brownies, join us in our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month by embracing your artistic side with Frida Khalo! GSKWR collaborates with Learning Through Art's Books Alive for Kids! program for this dynamic event. Girls will learn about Frida Khalo's story and art while creating art of their own.

Get in the Halloween spirit by creating a cute jack o’lantern tie dye shirt, make some fun Halloween swaps, and have fun with friends! This event will require you to bring your own white t-shirt, everything else will be provided. Cost includes a fun patch.

Quilting Corner

Join the Stringtown Quilters Guild and create your very own snack mat! Snack mats are very helpful in keeping your area clean while you eat.

Girls will piece together their snack mat under supervision from professional quilters! Sewing beginners and girls new to sewing are welcome and encouraged to join in on the fun.
