I have found that it can be as simple as asking, "how are you doing" and really meaning it and listening to the answer. I believe that pouring into others is the most honorable part of my day and I wake up each day energized to do just that. My Mom and Dad taught me at a young age to never assume I know the path someone is walking. Who do you look up to for inspiration or mentorship?

Training wasn't really big when we started so our broker at Re/Max of Buckhead, Norval Biggs inspired us with his class and work ethic. More recently Robben Mathews and KW Peachtree Road was a class act with so much encouragement and wisdom.

How do you keep your team or yourself motivated despite conflicts and obstacles?

We love our job which is ever-changing and challenges us on every transaction.

Positive energy and outlook help us get through the difficult ones!

What are your current goals?

To help as many people as possible the right way without changing our work values.

We don't try to set number goals and for 33 years that has worked for us.

What one thing makes you most proud?

The way we work together and provide above and beyond service so have repeat and referral business on a consistent basis.

How do you continue to grow and develop as a leader?

Learning from each client, each customer, each transaction to keep up with changes in the market and in the industry.

What advice can you give someone who is new and just getting started?

Use Keller Williams' extensive training opportunities and agents willing to help you to jump-start your career vs learning at a slower pace yourself. Learn the best practices by tried and true experiences!
