CREATIVE SUPERPOWERS

The days of laboring over cutting out photos are over.

Canva’s photo editor uses artificial intelligence to analyze the photo and drop out the background.

STYLE YOUR TYPE Create dramatic headlines and interesting type treatments using Canva’s type and style tools. Add extra touches like curving type on a path if it fits your book’s theme and look.

BACKGROUNDS Add texture and depth to your spreads with Canva’s library of backgrounds.

Once you publish them to your library and place them on the spread, you can adjust the transparency in eDesign.

TEMPLATES AND GRIDS Get extra help with type pairing and alignment of graphic elements using Canva’s templates. There are so many possibilities for giving your opening, closing and divider pages a quick upgrade.

ADD GRAPHIC ELEMENTS Access Canva’s element library for everything from traditional clip art to trendy touches like quote bubbles and squiggles. Add them to a blank canvas as stand-alone art pieces or use backgrounds to create a full-spread look.
