Agent Floor Duty What Is Floor Duty? Agents have the opportunity to sit floor at 295 W Pearl Ave in Jackson, 1 South Main Street in Driggs, and 190 Main Street in Thayne. Floor duty is a scheduled shift where an agent is responsible for handling incoming calls, walk-ins, and online inquiries that come into the office. It ensures that every potential buyer or seller receives a timely, professional response while giving agents an opportunity to connect with new leads. During floor duty, agents are expected to represent the office well—answering questions, gathering contact information, and following up with any viable prospects. It’s both a service to the brokerage and a valuable lead-generation opportunity for participating agents. What Do You Need to Do In Order to Sit Floor? Agents must be in good standing with the brokerage and up to date on all compliance and training requirements. Agents should be comfortable answering general real estate inquiries, have access to the MLS, and understand how to handle incoming leads or walk-ins professionally. Agents are expected to be present and available for the full duration of their shift, which vary in scheduled hours depending on the office location. Prior to your first floor shift, schedule a 15 minute meeting with a seasoned mentor to review the Floor Duty operations and procedures. Keller Williams Commissions & Fees Company Cap & Split & Royalty The Commission Split: Before an agent reaches their cap, they operate on a commission split with the brokerage (e.g., a 75/25 split). A portion of each commission check goes to the agent, and a portion goes to Keller Williams Jackson Hole. Defining ‘The Cap’: Once the agent has paid the brokerage their set cap amount out of commission split for the year, they have "capped." . Royalty Commission: The royalty fee is a percentage of each commission earned by an agent. It is a portion of the agent's commission that goes to the parent company before the split with the local Market Center is calculated. It is the cost for an agent to be a part of the national and international Keller Williams brand and its resources. This is 6% of each commission, capped at $3,000 per year. Part of the Overall Cap: The $3,000 royalty cap is a component of the agent's total annual cap. For an agent to reach the 100% commission split, they must hit both their local market center cap and the $3,000 royalty cap. 100% Commission (‘Hitting the Cap’): After an agent caps, they no longer have to split commissions with the brokerage for the rest of their anniversary year. For all subsequent deals, the agent keeps 100% of their commission. The Reset: The cap resets on the agent's anniversary month on the first day of the month, and the process begins again for the new year

Example Calculation (Before the Cap is Reached): Home Sale: $800,000 Total Commission (3%): $24,000 6% Royalty Fee: $1,440 Brokerage's 25% Share: $6,000 Agent's 75% Share: $16,560 Keller Williams Agent Fees On average, agents pay $225 per month for a KW Command technology package, E&O insurance, marketing, and other company business expenses. These charges may change with 30 days' notice. Private office spaces are available to rent for $400 to $600 a month, with slight variations in cost by office location. Keller Williams offers optional paid marketing opportunities, including newspaper features, Buckrail ads, listing posters, and social media advertising. Agents may choose to participate in these promotional efforts at their discretion. Associated costs will be billed to the agent following the completion of the selected marketing campaign. See section III, Marketing with Keller Williams, for more information. Agent Billing Office invoices are emailed by the 15th of every month. These invoices are due and payable by the 22nd of every month. If you are on auto-pay, your card or ACH payment will be processed on the 22nd of every month. If the 22nd falls on a weekend or holiday, your card will be processed the next business day. A 3% Processing Fee will apply for any type of invoice paid via credit card. Payments not received by the MCA by the 30th will automatically incur a $25.00 late fee. Should a credit card or check be declined for any reason, a penalty charge of $25.00 will be assessed by the Market Center. If an invoice has not been settled by the following month, the amount due will start to accrue a 10% interest rate.

Keller Williams Profit Sharing The Keller Williams Profit Share model is a system designed to reward associates who contribute to the growth of the company by sponsoring new agents. Here's a summary of how it works: 1. Sponsorship and Levels When an agent joins Keller Williams, they name a sponsor who introduced them to the company. This sponsor becomes part of the agent's "Profit Share Tree." The system operates across seven levels, with each level representing agents sponsored directly or indirectly through the tree. 2. Profit Distribution Each Market Center calculates its monthly profit. A portion of this profit is distributed to associates based on their Profit Share Tree. The percentages allocated to each level are predefined, with Level 1 receiving the highest share (50%) and subsequent levels receiving smaller percentages (e.g., 10%, 5%, etc.). 3. Passive Income Profit Share is considered 100% passive income. Once an agent sponsors another, they have no further responsibilities for that recruit. The Market Center takes on the role of training and supporting the new agent. 4. Timing Profit Share distributions are made monthly, typically on the 21st of the following month, based on the Market Center's profitability. 5. Global Opportunity For agents outside the U.S. and Canada, a similar system called Growth Share operates, allowing associates to earn passive income from international recruits.

How Do I View My Profit Sharing Status? Go to KWconnect.com and click on the “Reports” tab In the white bar. Here, click into “Associates” and you’ll be able to view your Income Summary, Multi-Year Trends and Profit and Growth Share stats. console.command.kw.com/connect/learning

Keller Personality Assessment The Keller Personality Assessment (KPA) is a core tool at Keller Williams designed to help agents understand their natural behaviors and how they align with proven success models in real estate. It’s not a pass/fail test—it’s a guide for growth and performance. What It Measures The KPA evaluates key traits that impact production, including: Drive and urgency Sociability and relationship-building Assertiveness and influence Decision-making style Independence vs. team orientation Why It Matters Real estate rewards consistent action. The KPA helps identify how naturally aligned you are with high-impact activities like lead generation, follow-up, and closing. Top agents typically show strong urgency, people skills, persistence, and a bias toward action. How to Use It Leverage strengths: Focus on what comes naturally and build your day around it Improve gaps: Use scripts, systems, and coaching to strengthen weaker areas Stay aligned: Follow KW models and accountability systems to stay consistent Bottom Line The KPA gives you clarity on how you’re wired to succeed. When paired with Keller Williams models and consistent execution, it becomes a powerful tool for predictable growth. Interested in requesting a KPA? MCAs will be notified and charge your card on file for $25. Your results will be emailed! More about KPAs and requesting a KPA
