All cattle and genetics sell under the standard terms and conditions of the Canadian Maine-Anjou Association and are available upon request. All payment is due immediately upon the conclusion of the sale; payable to the: “Saskatchewan Maine-Anjou Association.” All sold lots will not be released to the buyer until said lot is paid for in full, unless an arrangement has been made between the buyer and the seller. If a separate arrangement is made between buyer and seller it must be made clear in writing to the Saskatchewan Maine-Anjou Association, and at which point the Saskatchewan Maine-Anjou Association removes itself from any liability and/or obligation in regards to the payment of that said lot. The consignors will work with any US buyers to help arrange transportation to the U.S. U.S. funds will be accepted at the current rate of exchange announced sale day and will be posted prior to the sale.

We purchased Code Black “Beast” from Willow Springs Cattle Co. in the 2018 National Western Stock Show Bright Lights sale. The following day he was crowned Jr. Champion. He was truly unique in that year’s group of Maine bulls. We felt he was the perfect blend of look and power. We used Beast for 2 years before we lost him to injury. His offspring exhibit the punch and power we had hoped for. Code Black Daughters are sound, good milking, powerful momma cows. His sons are breeding true and raising top quality offspring. Our high selling Beast son from the Associates Bull Sale will be standing in the G2 stall in the Maine barn at Agribition.

Having made trips to the National Western Stock Show in 2007 and 2008, I gained a great appreciation for the Irish Whiskey females. They weren’t the biggest boned, sharpest fronted, or going to blow you away with size, but they were by far the deepest ribbed most complete females in the breed. We began looking for an Irish Whiskey female at the time and when the picture of the female arrived along with a picture of her brother we quickly changed our course of action. We purchased Fightin’ Irish in the fall of 2008 from Willers Mitten Brand in Nebraska. He walked our pastures for 7 years. In those 7 years we built a beautiful herd of females off him while marketing sons to both purebred and commercial operations. Sons and daughters went on to be shown successfully at all levels as well as becoming AI sires and donor cows. Commercial breeders kept the daughters back as replacements as they grew to be beautiful low maintenance easy fleshing cows. Every year we get asked if we would be willing to part with a few straws so here they are. Semen is qualified for Canada. Semen stored at Alta Genetics.
