Back in Stock. Red Gingham is an amazing feature plant that provides a stunning floral display! It is well suited to formal and cottage gardens or just to introduce some standout colour through Winter and Spring. The buds are a beautiful red and open to gorgeous pink flowers which make the most stunning display as a cut flower and will last up to 2 months on the plant. Easy to grow native shrub with fine narrow leaves which has a lovely fragrant foliage and is drought tolerant. Grows approximately 2m tall x 1m wide attracting native bees and butterflies when in flower.

Platycodon ‘Astra Blue Balloon Flower’ 125mm pot - $12.95 each

A small shrubbing herbaceous perennial with soft, mid green leaves and violetblue coloured flowers. The foliage of this plant is dormant through winter and sprouts again in spring. The flowers begin as plump, inflated balloon-like buds and open to bright star shaped blooms which flower abundantly across summer. Great for cottage gardens, rockery gardens, and potted colour.

Backhousia myrtifolia – Cinnamon Myrtle 140mm pot - $17.95 each

This lovely native shrub has cream flowers and cinnamon scented leaves which can be used in cooking as a Bush Tucker food. Cinnamon Myrtle leaves may be used in place of conventional cinnamon spice to flavour curries, stews, soups, roasts, ribs, and sauces. In desserts, they add a warm, earthy flavour to pies, biscuits, sweets, pastries and slices. They may also be used fresh or dried, steeped in hot water, to make a herbal tea. This large shrub grows well in most soil and climate conditions, and will tolerate long, dry summers provided it is watered regularly.

Callistemon demesne ‘Pink Alma’ 140mm pot - $16.95 each

Brighten up your garden with a spectacular, native shrub. This fast growing, evergreen bottlebrush produces long, narrow, green leaves. In autumn and spring, it features abundant, large, mid pink flower brushes that attract bees, butterflies and nectar feeding birds. This hardy plant is Ideal for hedges, windbreaks, erosion control or simply as a feature plant in your garden. This shade of mid-pink in the flower is unusual for Callistemons. A great plant which is adaptable to a wide range of conditions. Grows to around 2 metres high and 1.5 wide.

Miracle Fruit (Synsepalum dulcificum) 140mm pot - $24.95 each

The miracle that this fruit performs is to make everything taste sweet. When you eat the fruit and allow the pulp to coat the inside of your mouth, it masks the real taste of bitter foods from a few minutes to several hours, depending on how much fruit you eat. This includes foods that are normally very sour, such as vinegar or lemons. Scientists are still unsure of how the fruit alters a food’s taste, but they think that it may have something to do with a protein with sugar molecules attached. The Miracle Fruit can grow successfully in partial shade as well as full sun. Quite slow growing and best to grow as a potted plant until at least a metre high.

Plectranthus ‘Velvet Diva’ 140mm pot - $14.95 each

Plectranthus Velvet Diva has stunning deep green textured leaves, with a dark purple reverse. Bright purple blooms mass on the upright stems with many little pendula-like flowers on the bud, giving you a large display of flowers from late summer through to autumn. Suitable for areas with part shade. Will make an excellent border plant, or even as a free standing bush in any garden. Also great for pots and containers and suitable to cut for vases.
