VICUNA Full of grace and slenderness, the Vicuña trots free in the Andean highlands after having overcome the danger of extinction.

Taking its warmth from the sun and its golden rays to color its fiber. As a protected species in Peru, Chaccu is a humane and ancient method of obtaining wool from the sacred vicuña. The celebration of Chaccu is where man obtains the fiber with respect to create beauty with it; then he will deliver it to the world transformed into garments that carry the greatest finesse with them, to be fully admired and enjoyed.

Vicuña garments are presented in luxury packaging made from natural wood and are limited edition, so each item is numbered. GUANACO In contrast to its strong figure and rugged beauty, the Guanaco produces a very fine cinnamon colored fiber. At KUNA, we produce high quality garments from raw materials, and the Guanaco is an adaptable animal that lives in a range of arid climates around South America, including coastlines, plains, plateaus, and mountains at elevations ranging from sea level to over 17,000 feet.

Guanaco garments are presented in a luxury packaging made from natural wood and belong to a limited edition, so each item is numbered. They come with a certificate of authenticity registered in the Unique Registry of Guanaco granted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation of Peru and CITES (Convention of International Trade for Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora).

BABY ALPACA SURI Suri Alpaca makes up less than 10% of the South American alpaca population. Suri fiber is more similar to natural silk and hangs off the body in locks that have a dreadlock appearance.Suri population censuses quoted from various authorities run across the board from ONLY 1% to 4% of the alpaca populations which makes it very rare. Due to its beautiful chromatic variety, fineness, softness and natural shine, it is one of the most valuable fibers of South American camelids, which gives the garments a visible and very particular elegance.

The suri alpaca has a graceful and delicate appearance and produces a very fine fleece that covers it like a mantle, made up of long wicks of up to 16 cm. of length. These fall vertically on the neck and around the entire body, giving it a unique beauty. Its population currently represents only 6% of all alpacas. Most of the specimens are white, although there are other colors and shades like that of the beautiful shades ranging from ecru to black. Its fiber is, without a doubt, one of the most valuable that exists, it is an irreplaceable for the elaboration of high quality garments in the world of high fashion.
