Knowledge Exchange Program – A Collaborative Learning Initiative
A comprehensive Knowledge Exchange Program was successfully conducted at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF Bhikhiwind, with enthusiastic participation from students of PM SHRI Govt. Sr. Sec. Girls School, Sursingh.
The program provided an excellent platform for students of both institutions to interact, collaborate, and learn from each other. Throughout the session, students actively engaged in a series of well-planned activities and demonstrations based on Science, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, and Skill Education. These activities encouraged critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork.
75th Bharat Scouts and Guides Foundation Day Celebration
The 75th Bharat Scouts and Guides Foundation Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF Bhikhiwind. The event highlighted the values of discipline, service, leadership, and teamwork, which form the core principles of the Scouts and Guides movement. Students participated actively in various activities, reaffirming their commitment to community service and nation-building. The celebration served as an inspiring platform to promote character development, social responsibility, and patriotic spirit among the young learners.
Children’s Day Celebration
Children’s Day was celebrated with immense joy and enthusiasm at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF Bhikhiwind. The celebration was graced by the Chief Guest, Honourable Sh. Laxman Bhati ji, 2nd-in-Command, BSF BN-115, who extended his warm wishes and encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence. Honourable Principal Smt. Vandana Tyagi also conveyed her heartfelt blessings and motivated the students to uphold values of discipline, respect, and hard work. The event featured a variety of engaging and fun-filled activities, including music performances, lemon race, mathematical puzzles and race, balloon race, along with several other joyful competitions. Students participated with great enthusiasm, making the day lively and memorable. Overall, the celebration provided a delightful and vibrant experience for all young learners, strengthening the spirit of happiness, unity, and creativity within the school.

– Celebration of Bhagwan Birsa Munda Jayanti
The birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda Ji was observed with reverence at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF Bhikhiwind as part of the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas Pakhwada.The program commenced with all teachers offering a floral tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda Ji, honouring his immense contributions towards tribal rights and freedom struggle.Students presented impressive role plays showcasing notable Janjatiya personalities, including Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji, Mountain Man Dashrath Manjhi Ji, and several other inspiring figures. A colourful and energetic Telugu dance performance added vibrancy to the event, highlighting India’s rich cultural diversity. Following the performances, Honourable Principal Smt. Vandana Tyagi addressed the gathering and shared valuable insights on the importance of Janjatiya Gaurav, emphasizing the contributions and heritage of India’s tribal communities.
Bagless Day Activity Folk Art (Madhubani Painting)
As part of the Bagless Day initiative, a vibrant and enriching Madhubani Painting activity was organised at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF Bhikhiwind. The session was conducted by Mr. Rahul Kumar (TGT, Art & Education), who guided the students through the traditional techniques and motifs of this famous folkart form.
Students from Classes 6 to 8 participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their creativity and artistic expression through beautifully crafted Madhubani artworks. The activity provided them with an excellent opportunity to explore Indian folk culture while enhancing their visual art skills.
Annual Sports Day Celebration

Modern Weapons Display Programme by BSF 115 BN

As part of the Silver Jubilee Celebration of Border Security Force 115 Battalion, a Modern Weapons Display Programme was organised on the school campus. The event provided students with a unique opportunity to gain insightful knowledge about the latest weapons and equipment used by the BSF.. The programme was conducted under the esteemed guidance of 2nd In-Charge Commandant, BSF BN 115, Honourable Sh. Laxman Bhati ji. During the session, Deputy Commandant Sh. J.P. Yadav ji interacted with the students, enlightened them about the significant role of the BSF in national security, and explained in detail the procedure to join the force. His motivational interaction inspired many students to aspire towards serving the nation.

The session was conducted by Mr. Kulwant (TGT, Work Experience), who guided the students through the creative process of fabric folding, tying, and dyeing to produce unique patterns..
Students from Classes 6 to 8 participated enthusiastically and thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with colours and techniques. The activity provided them with an excellent opportunity to enhance their creativity, craftsmanship, and understanding of textile art.

21st Century Skills Training Programme

On 29 November 2025, an enriching training session on “21st Century Skills Education” was conducted by our Honourable Principal, Smt. Vandana Tyagi.The session focused on enhancing teachers’ competencies in critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, digital literacy, and problem-solving— skills essential for modern teaching-learning practices. A total of 18 teachers actively participated in the training and benefited from the insightful guidance provided by the Principal Ma’am.
