No Excuses! With the influx of new exercise programs coming to Memorial Park Community Center, there is no excuse for putting off getting in shape for the new year! Beginning the first week of February, the center will add new, challenging workouts to its schedule of group fitness classes. Classes are open to ages 18 and older and are only $5 a class. The classes taught by certified instructors include InsanityŽ Live, Muscle Confusion P9OX Live, PiYo™ Live, and Wild Card Fridays, which can include any mix of the above classes. In addition, Warm Barre and Warm Power Yoga will be introduced in February. Along with the already popular Catch the Wave Power Walking classes offered by Senior Services on Monday, February 1, ETSU Therapy students will instruct a Balanced Bodies Workshop for ages 50+. The workshop will include a balance screening and an education on fall prevention and ways to improve balance. So get off the couch and into a regiment to improve your quality of life! Parks and Recreation has everything to make it happen!
