Patients who are on prescribed medication should arrive with a two week supply in hand.

We accept most private insurance policies and all Masshealth products.

We detox pregnant women.

We offer methadone maintenance protocols.

We offer private room upgrades for an additional fee.

We do not accept Medicare of Unmanaged MassHealth Detox protocols include but are not limited to: Methadone Suboxone Librium/Ativan Comfort Meds

Patients who are on prescribed medication should arrive with a two week supply in hand (for direct referrals).

There is limited access to a therapist and or psychiatric prescriber, this is based on clinical assessment and treatment goals We accept most private insurance policies and most Masshealth products.

We do not accept Medicare and Unmanaged MassHeath We have separate living quarters based on gender.

We accept patients on methadone maintenance.

All patients will be set up with aftercare plans.

PHP/IOP How do I make a referral?

PHP is M-F, 9:00-2:00 PM IOP average length of stay for IOP is 4-8 weeks based on clinical necessity. IOP is M-F, 9:00 - 12:00 PM Patients will have access to a psychiatric prescriber on second day of program participation.

Patients keep their outside prescriber and individual therapist.

Patients who choose to stay with Gosnold will be assigned a prescriber and individual therapist for ongoing care.

PHP/IOP is only available during the day.

Patients with Masshealth are eligible for PT1 transportation voucher.

GOSNOLD OUTPATIENT SERVICES INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM - SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER (SUD IOP) SUD IOP sessions are held 3-5 days a week providing both day and evening groups for 3.5 hours, telehealth available.

SUD IOP is best suited for patients whose primary diagnosis is substance-use disorder.

INDIVIDUAL, COUPLES & FAMILY COUNSELING Patients can be involved concurrently with other Gosnold services.

A typical session is 45 minutes. Length of stay in counseling is determined by medical necessity.

PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES & TELE-PSYCHIATRY We offer in person and telehealth for adults only, and for ages 16-18 with prior approval from the outpatient Medical Director.

MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT (MAT) We offer Vivitrol and Suboxone.

Anger Management A weekly psychoeducational group providing strategies and coping skills for emotional regulation.

Patients are often court-referred but can also selfrefer.

Self pay only, 12 sessions for completion.

Massachusetts Impaired Driving (MID) The MID Program is a 16-week educational program for patients referred by the court pursuant to a legal charge of first offense driving while intoxicated or impaired.

In-person and Telehealth Second Offender Aftercare (SOA) A year-long program for patients referred by the court after a second or subsequent legal charge of driving while intoxicated or impaired.

The nature of treatment will be determined during the initial assessment and as recommended by the clinician.

Any level of treatment can be counted toward the one-year state requirement and is generally covered by insurance.

In-person and telehealth.

Early Recovery Group A weekly group with a goal of enhancement and reinforcement of coping skills for dealing with common triggers and stressors experienced in early substance recovery.

Duration is governed by medical necessity, usually 1+ years.

PHP Aftercare Group A weekly group to provide support for patients who have completed PHP. This group helps patients master and maintain skills obtained in PHP. Governed by medical necessity.

RECOVERY SUPPORT NAVIGATOR (RSN) & COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROGRAM (CSP) How do I make a referral?

Staffed by paraprofessionals, RSN services engage members as they present in the treatment system and support them in accessing treatment services and community resources.

Community Support Program (CSP) The Community Support Program (CSP) is a short-term program offered by certain Medicaid providers to provide intensive case management services to clients who are considered to be "at risk" within the community.

This program offers a single point of contact for coordination and follow-up on a client's individual care.

The Community Support Providers (CSPs) are mobile, flexible, and support clients in their community.

Staff work with patients on a housing search, connection to clinical services, application to social security, or transportation to medical appointments.

Email: bhji@gosnold.org Include: Patient Name Date of Birth Insurance Type Policy Number Best Contact Number Email Address Level of Justice Involvement Things to know: The Behavioral Health for Justice Involved Individuals (BH-JI) Program is a MassHealth-Funded initiative that aims to provide direct support to individuals that are currently incarcerated, on probation/parole, pretrial, or detained any time in the last year who also have behavioral health disorders, substance use disorders, or co-occurring illnesses.

Our team will meet with the individual to develop a support Plan that is based upon the individual’s needs and focuses on recovery, wellness, and independent living.

The goal of our team is to empower the individual and provide the supports needed during and after re-entry so that the individual can live safely and effectively in the community without future justice involvement.

FAMILY SUPPORT GROUPS How do I make a referral?

Email: mdias@gosnold.org Things to know: Gosnold’s Family Services Program is a free program that offers support to families through counseling, intervention, addiction education and community outreach. Families need to heal along with the patient. Information and education forums help family members to gain a basic understanding of the signs and symptoms of addiction, treatment options, and stages of recovery.
