As far as I experimented with paper and developed CAD patterns based on the cup mock-up, there was almost no problem with cutting. Additional pairs of screws are required to hold stripes more securely.

There is a question with the zipper (that I like). To provide an additional option, I will make another option for that.

The test with actual heavy cup showed that for now, the bracelet must be one size. It is required that the bracelet fits the wrist perfectly to prevent skin squashing. Also, additional silicone stripes will help to fit it more securely.

the bracelet has almost no distortion while holding a heavy cup. But to make the bracelet more secure, two screws will be placed vertically.

Overall, the whole construction looks as planned. The minor changes will be put in the final design prototype. Also, an alternative concept of the body/lid connection will be provided.

Here is the test with the first and second versions of the bracelet. For now, it becomes clear that the dimensions for rings placement must be taken from the second option. It looks and feels better when rings are hidden by palm.
