“People of Character”

The simple beauty of sisterhood. South Africa 2013 FOTOFEST 2016

“ These are a collection of portraits I have taken from around the world over the years. They call upon people and subjects that caught my eye, and pulled at my heart, each reflecting a soulful essence.”

“People of Character” is a thoughtfully curated selection of black and white photographs by photographer Karen Sachar, presented in close collaboration with FOUND®. The exhibition features 30 large-scale photographs emanating the theme of character, heart, and humanity. Long-time collaborators, Aaron Rambo of FOUND® was called upon for his deep design and style expertise to create and execute the vision for the custom installation in FOUND®’s shop. The shop décor coupled with the style and theme of Sachar’s photographs taken over the years from Africa, Mexico, Spain, Southern Europe, Central America, and around the U.S., epitomize how to live in style with the fine art of photography.

Karen Sachar is an international photographer whose work reflects the essence of the human spirit. Her work has been published in numerous magazines and is part of many private and corporate art collections. Families, corporations, designers, art galleries and non-profit organizations are all part of her client base. Through Heart of Humanity, a division of Karen Sachar & Co. she is bringing awareness to social issues including her 2013 educational exhibit Bo’s Place, “Life and Death, Let’s Talk About it.”
