Musculoskeletal disorders are the most common causes for incapacity for work -- in particular in professions in which physically strenuous work such as pulling and pushing of loads are a part of daily activity. The latest innovation from Blickle can reduce these health risks to a minimum: The electric drive systems of the ErgoMove series.
With the integrated dead man’s brake system, the mass in motion is decelarated so that the strain on the operator’s back is reduced. The Blickle drive systems are easy to use and meet stringent safety standards. Blickle uses tried and tested components (motors, control units, operating controls, batteries) to ensure that the drive system is extremely reliable.
The physical strain on the operator is reduced significantly during internal material transport due to considerably less amount of effort required compared to manual operation. The ErgoMove modular electric drive systems from Blickle are designed for a variety of transport devices, trailer systems and special applications with an overall weight of up to 2,000 kg. The high thrust force of up to 2 x 55 daN ensures that the operator uses much less force moving transport devices and trailer systems.
Blickle’s ErgoMove series is therefore an investment that pays off quickly, since personnel and subsequent costs due to illness-related absences are reduced significantly.

Overview: ErgoMove 1000 and ErgoMove 2000. Electric drive systems have many applications in manual as well as towing operations. Hence Blickle offers two different systems: ErgoMove 1000 is the right solution for a permissible total weight up to 1,000 kg, while ErgoMove 2000 is suitable for a total weight up to 2,000 kg.

The ergonomic handle with integrated power sensor records the forces operated by the operator in three dimensions: front / back, left / right and turn: The power impulses in the ergonomic handle are converted into control signals and support the steering. This in turn provides simple and intuitive handling. Safety function: The trolley brakes when the handle is released. The ideal ergonomic height of the handle for an operator with average height is approx. 1.20 m. Blickle optionally offers a console extension for this height. The element is also conceptualised for an optimal ergonomic grip angle. The scope of supply also contains a cable for the horn (1.5 m) and two pluggable cables for connecting the cockpit and drive castors (each 3Â m). The flex cockpit includes the following components: A control panel with integrated control and anti-trap protection (pressure-sensitive button), two separate operating handles with rotary joystick. All elements can be installed flexibly on the trolley.
The motors are controlled separately by a different joystick (left/right). As in the case of the ergonomic handle, the brake release is also activated in the flex cockpit with a sensor for hand detection on both handles.

The ErgoMove 1000 includes the following other functions:
Emergency release
ON
If required, the key switch (position ) can be used to release the dead man's brakes. This way, the trolley can also be moved manually without any power supply.
Rechargeable battery The battery unit comprises of commercial rechargeable batteries and can be quickly changed with a simple plug mechanism. In this way the permanent operation is guaranteed through replacement batteries. At full capacity the battery can get 1000 kg loads moving up to 300 times on an even surface. . (Li-Ion battery, 5Ah, 90Wh with 18 V. charging time approx. 45min at 8A charging current with quick charger.)
Horn
Both ergonomic handle and flex cockpit come with a horn. It can be attached on the trolley anywhere. More details on page 25. Volume: 110 dB. Cable length: 1.5m (with cockpit connected).
Anti-trap protection
Both versions of the ErgoMove 1000 guarantee anti-trap protection for the operator:
The integrated power sensor in the ergonomic handle ensures the anti-trap protection. If the ergonomic handle is pressed against the operator, the trolley will go back in the opposite direction. The handle already detects minor forces (max. 28N in 1,000 kg are necessary) and sends these signals to the motor. In the flex cockpit, the pressure-sensitive button activates the anti-trap protection: The trolley travels a little in the opposite direction when the button is pressed.

We provide a number of different versions of the ErgoMove 2000. We recommend the Blickle ErgoMove 2000 for loads up to 2,000 kg. The ErgoMove 2000 will be available to you as a modular kit which can be flexibly assembled comprising two electrically-driven fixed castors, a cockpit, separate handle with rotary joystick, a horn and a control box with integrated battery.

Battery recuperative system in towing operation
How does the emergency release work?
The ErgoMove 2000T version is also suitable for use in towing up to 16 km/h. Another advantage is that the battery recharges during the towing operation through a recuperative system. Battery charging is reduced to a minimum with regular use and sufficient travel distance.
A draw-bar is lowered on the trolley while attaching it to a trailer. The movement of the plunger opens the brakes. This causes the brakes to release mechanically. The control is activated in towing mode through the electric coupling switch.
The electro-magnetic brake system must be released in towing mode in order to prevent damage to the electric drive castors. For this purpose, ErgoMove 2000T has an emergency release for the brakes. While intalling the set the brakes need to be connected with the emergency release.

The Blickle standard program includes more than 30,000 products. This includes a number of swivel castors that can be combined with ErgoMove 2000. The following is a recommendation keeping in mind the ergonomic aspects:
Housing: LH/LHD series - Made of pressed strong steel, tightened and secured with really robust centre pins, with double ball bearing in swivel head, additionally reinforced with four especially moulded, hardened bearing seats. Bolted wheel axle. zinc-coated, passivated blue, Cr6-free.
ALBS
Housing: LS series - Particularly robust welded steel construction, swivel housing with axial grooved ball bearing DIN 711 and ball bearing DIN 720 in swivel head, dust and jet spray proof, with lubricating nipple, tightened and secured with very stable welded centre pins. Safety instructions Please note that the position of the swivel and fixed castor have a significant impact on the manoeuvrability of the unit. Trolley manufacturers must attach an apron to their equipment in order to prevent potential foot injuries, however we can provide swivel castors with integrated foot guards. We also recommend fitting one end of the unit with spring-loaded swivel castors on arrangements in which the drive wheels are attached in the centre. The customer is entirely responsible for the transport unit and its operation. The drive system is suitable for trolleys up to max. 1,000 kg (ErgoMove  1000) or up to max. 2,000 kg (ErgoMove 2000) total load with two swivel castors and two fixed castors and indoor operation on even surfaces. If the starting aid is used in different conditions, get information about the permissible total weight of the unit. We recommend using the electric drive system in an ambient temperature of between +5°C and +40°C. Please comply with the standards and regulations which has to be clarified.
