This suite is an extract and arrangement derived from „Robin Hood - zu gut, um wahr zu sein“ (Robin Hood - to good to be true), a music theater work by Mike Svoboda (music) and Manfred Weiss (libretto) based on themes from John Dowland. This hour long work written for mezzo-soprano and brass quintet was premiered on September 7th 2013 at the Lucerne Festival, Switzerland by Anne-May Krüger and SonusBrass with Stefan Dünser and Attila Krako trumpets, Andreas Schuchter horn, Wolfgang Bilgeri trombone, and Harald Schele tuba. In this suite, many of the vocal parts from „Robin Hood“ have been integrated into the quintet and of course, this suite is almost entierly based on the Dowland themes as opposed to the musi
