The artist Harold Granucci is a great example of how it’s never too late in life to pursue your passion. Born in 1916, Granucci spent the first 65 years of his life as an accountant and furniture store owner. Upon retiring, he dedicated himself to drawing mathematical models of patterns. The resulting body of work gives “visible form to patterns and calculations found in nature, ranging from the solar system to sunflower crowns.” On Saturday, July 9 from 10 a.m. –12 p.m., there will be a brunch reception at the gallery to celebrate the exhibition.
