A Trailblazer in Defense and Space
Kristin’s distinguished 28-year career in the United States Air Force redefined what’s possible for women in military leadership. As a pioneering officer, she became the first female Bomb Wing Commander and later served as Chief of Staff for Space Operations Command in the U.S. Space Force. In this role, she oversaw governance and strategic execution for more than 4,100 personnel, supporting 38,000 space and cyber professionals across 134 global sites. She was also a chief architect of one of the first Space Force field commands, shaping the future of America’s military space capabilities.
Her expertise was instrumental at the Pentagon, where she advised the Air Force Chief of Staff (a four-star general), the Secretary of the Air Force, and high-ranking defense
leaders on operations, cybersecurity, international relations, and strategy. Kristin helped secure international consensus across 39 NATO countries and served as spokesperson to Heads of State, guiding global discussions on space defense, innovation, and coordination.
Leading with Strategic Precision in the Private Sector
Upon transitioning to civilian life, Kristin continued her mission of service and leadership. She founded The Delta-v, LLC, a boutique advisory and coaching firm focused on empowering companies through strategic AI transformation, governance, risk management, operations optimization, and culture development. As CEO, she helps technology, space, defense, and AI companies—including Fortune 500s—navigate complex transformations with clarity, agility, and human-centric leadership.
Her approach to AI is rooted in real-world readiness. Kristin doesn’t just advise on tech implementation—she ensures stakeholder alignment, workforce adaptation, and cultural integration to accelerate transformation without leaving people behind. Her work with industry giants like BAE Systems includes advising on electronic warfare readiness in the face of near-peer threats, leveraging her deep expertise in space and defense.
She has also served as COO of Caribou Thunder, leading global/domestic engineering services. There, she drove IT and cybersecurity improvements and guided a culture reset that led to 67% revenue growth.
