The main focus in running your facility is on a smooth operation and a high safety standard. In order to guarantee this, we offer you training courses and training around the High Ropes Courses on a regular basis.
Employing temporary workers, pupils and students is very common in the High Ropes Course operation. This makes permanent trainings even more important. Constant refresher courses keep you and your team always updated on the latest safety techniques and technical innovations.
The training courses offered by KristallTurm® Safety & Service not only cover the training of your staff, but also enable you to carry out certain maintenance work yourself and without external support.

Instruction, supervision and rescue of visitors.
The 5-day training to become a KristallTurm® guide and rescuer includes the instruction and supervision of guests in the use of the belay system, as well as the dressing of climbers. In addition, employees are taught the necessary know-how to be able to operate the belay and rescue equipment and to actively perform the rescue. The training is designed for a maximum of 7 participants per KristallTurm® guide.
If the rescuer exam is not passed, only the guide certificate can be issued.

Become a trainer yourself!
The training to become a KristallTurm® trainer enables the participants to train other persons as guides and rescuers themselves and having them being certified by KristallTurm® after sending the complete documentation of the training to KristallTurm® Safety & Service.

• Based on DIN SPEC 31060
• Minimum age of 21
• Participation in training courses to become a KristallTurm® Guide and Rescuer (or comparable passed training)
• Proof of at least 100 working days in a High Ropes Course

Carry out simple maintenance work and daily checks as defined in the operating manual.
The content of the 2-day training is the advanced belay technique, which allows to perform simple maintenance operations such as the replacement of the descenders or individual element parts, as well as maintenance and inspection, as defined in the operations manual. Simple extended PPE is used for this purpose.

LockD Clips are the next generation of intelligent safety systems. The advanced carabiner system was developed specifically for the needs of operators and visitors to adventure leisure facilities. The system is particularly durable and easy to maintain thanks to the small number of wear parts. Most repairs can be carried out directly on site. Thanks to its slim design and low weight of only 740 g, it is easy to use even with small hands.




The Smart Belay X certified according to EN 17109:2020 / Type D is the new generation of SBX by Edelrid.
The two communicating carabiners ensure consistent safety and maximum freedom of movement in the Ropes Course. Equipped with RFID technology, each system supports fast registration and effective management. The built-in roller carabiners replace the use of a double roller in zip lines.

With continuous or running belay systems such as the KOALA Pouliz 3.2 Shuttle, climbing is possible without having to reattach or detach the device. They are particularly easy to use and therefore ideal for rope courses and zip lines. The system complies with the requirements of PPE Regulation 2016/425.


EDELRID SAFE DESCENT 9,8 MM
The SAFE DESCENT from EDELRID is an innovative abseiling and rescue device with a lifting function – ideal for working at height and emergencies – whether in adventure parks or wind turbines. The SAFE DESCENT is available at short notice in the standard lengths listed on request. Special lengths are available on request.

The rappelling and rescue device with lifting function: The MARK Robin Hub from MARK Save A Life enables automatic, centrifugal braking rappelling for two people at the same time. It is optionally available with a ratchet and sheet clamp. The injured person and the rescuer can be lifted over short distances using the hand wheel and over longer distances using a cordless screwdriver. The MARK Infini Box means that testing is only required every 10 years. Various hand wheels are available as options. The MARK Robin Hub comes standard with a SW10 hexagonal connection for all common cordless screwdrivers. For different rope heights, it can be equipped with KONG Duck.

The Star Belay from HONOR Adventure Tech is the perfect self-belay device for sport and recreational climbers and the only one in the world with a kernmantle rope.
There are currently three types of HONOR auto belays:
• CWD9 for rappelling heights of up to 9 meters (32.5 ft)
• CWD16 for climbing walls up to a height of 16 meters (52.5 ft)
• CWD20 SPEED with a maximum rappelling height of 20 meters (65.6 ft)
The abseiling module allows the climber to rappel in a controlled and automatic manner. The devices are available with a handle mount or a swivel. Certified according to EN 341:2011 Type-A & EN 360:2002




The TOPPAS descender is a fully automatic, certified belay device for professional training and belaying without a climbing partner. The abseiling speed is 1m/s. The two independent braking systems provide more safety.

The abseiling device with increased abseiling speed is especially suitable for High Ropes Courses. It transports single persons in shuttle traffic with an operational load of up to 150 kg, convinces with an abseiling speed of 1.9 m/s and is available with a rope length of up to 300 m. The optional weather protection hood makes the device even safer for outdoor use. Due to the compact design in the components, it is characterized by higher safety and easy maintenance.

The rescue bag with integrated EDELRID Safe Descent 9.8 mm descender is designed for rescue by lowering and is therefore suitable for “large” rescues, e.g., lowering people from the highest level. The back and shoulder straps of the backpack are made of thermoformed foam, offering exceptional comfort regardless of weight. The body is made of highly durable TPU tarpaulin, making it extremely UV and temperature resistant. The welded bottom further reinforces abrasion and tear resistance.
The backpack is packed by us and includes the following items:

The Assistance Kit is a rescue kit designed for “small rescues,” such as pulling a person to the station. It allows the rescuer to rescue an injured person using the JAG system (pulley) with only a quarter of the force.
The Assistance Kit includes the following components:

The lanyards are available in sizes between 70 cm and 100 cm as standard. They connect the harness to the self-belay system. The openings are twisted 15 cm on both sides, sewn, and therefore ideal for the anchor stitch (EN354:02, EN795B:96, EN 566 CE).

Our range of rope pulleys covers a variety of applications. Rope pulleys enable loads to be moved and people to travel along textile or wire ropes, such as those found in high ropes courses, via ferrata routes, and cable cars. Depending on the model, integrated features such as backstops facilitate handling during installation and increase safety during use. Proven examples include the PETZL Trac Guide, specially designed for professional use in high ropes courses, and the KONG Zip Evo, which impresses with its compact design and smooth-running bearings.


Zip brakes, such as those from HONOR Adventure Tech, are a key element in ensuring a safe experience on any zip line. Modern systems brake the rider gently and evenly, regardless of weight or speed. They are self-regulating and reset automatically after each ride.
