Growth Plan Coach The Growth Plan Coach provides a measure of collaboration and accountability for employee growth at Fellowship Christian School.

Responsibilities Ask questions, listen, and reflect on what the employee communicates about growth possibilities.

Give feedback and help guide the employee through: Self-assessment Identification of growth areas Articulations of growth possibilities Assist in the development of a growth plan which includes: Intended benefits for the students, colleagues, departments, or school Timelines Resources needed Measures of completion Meet regularly (at least once per month) with the employee to keep the timeline on track and help adjust as needed. (think: supportive and reflective project manager) Characteristics Must desire to be a GPC. Will not be tasked with evaluating the employees they are coaching WIll need the following attributes: Emotional intelligence Cultural competence Self-awareness Authenticity Confidence Integrity Need to possess the following skills: Understand adult learners Be engaged and listen actively Ask questions that drive reflection Build strong relationships Show vulnerability Help organize, strategize, and synthesize Essential Understanding Entire growth and evaluation framework of CED Skills and attributes of a successful GPC Ideas and resources available to help in self-assessment and growth plan development Elements of the growth plan template Good note taking How to solicit and give good feedback
