L.O.T.S. Recap: First-time flipper 21 tackles Wilder Park house Eric Shadowens: Why keeping good records can save you

Dear KREIA Members and Friends, We’ve all heard that it is possible to have too much of a good thing. Perhaps we can say this about today’s real estate market, with its rising prices, rising rents, and very low inventory of existing homes. The other side of this market’s coin is a shortage of labor, a skyrocketing cost of building materials, and a lack of land and lots for Chris McCarty new construction. Combine all these factors and you get affordable housing that is ever-more unaffordable. Certainly these are positive factors for the KREIA members who already own real estate, a validation of owning rental property as a means to accumulate wealth. Among the conversations I have with KREIA members each month, rising costs and shrinking inventory are concerns that are driving the dialogue about how to prosper – how to find and structure affordable deal opportunities. Add to all this a resurgence of interest in investing: More and more new people are just getting started in the real estate game. For them, KREIA is here as a beacon. It provides resources for the many new investors hungry for the information we provide. KREIA’s mission is to provide training and mentoring to members new and old.

If you are currently a successful investor and have been at this for a while, reaping the current real estate rewards, I hope my letter this month is validation of your years of effort following the basic principles of real estate investing. If you are one of the many new KREIA members who we, as an organization, are trying to help, take heed and soak up the great content in your hands with the newsletter and the many other benefits KREIA has to offer each month.
