COMPANY PROFILE KJ has progressed beyond puberty – founded in 1978. Today, KJ is a Company comprising two main departments, all with higly qualified employees. The headquarters in Kambsdalur provides technical and sales service with a Automatics division, mechanical workshop and a stock with a wide range of products. KJ has achieved success as a comprehensive component supplier and repair service provider, dedicated to satisfying the requirements of the international maritime market. AQUACULTURE KJ is dedicated to the aquaculture industry in the North Atlantic. KJ manufactures offshore fish farming cages and heavy duty catamarans, which are especially designed for the most exposed locations in the world, and which also have proved their strength and durability.
KJ OFFSHORE FISH FARMING CAGES In order to fulfill the requirements, the models have been developed in close cooperation with the fish farmers. Our product range of cages has prooved it’s strenght and durability in the most exposed offshore locations.
HydroCat heavy duty work boat is a very versatile catamaran. The catamarans are designed for the toughest and most exposed environments in the world. The work boats are made of steel and fully specked with high quality hydraulic deck machinery. The boats are bulit according to local maritime authorities and classifications.
FISH PUMP SYSTEMS AND ACCESSORIES KJ has one of the largest stock in the world of fish pump hoses, in sizes from 4” to 20”. KJ has a large stock of fish pump fittings – adapter flanges, rail bends, quick release couplings stainless and rubber, bolted split couplings, connecting pipes and hose clamps. KJ stock department carry one of the best and largest stock in northen europe of fish pump hoses, hydraulic hoses specialized for the pelagic industry. KJ also provides fish pumps, hose reels, fish reel for all sizes and needs.
HYDRAULIC HOSES AND FITTINGS KJ is the biggest supplier in the Faroes of hydraulic fittings for hoses and pipes. The fittings can be found in all sizes and unions, both chromated and AISI316 acid-free stainless steel. KJ has the largest stock of hydralic hoses for the pelagic industry. The hoses are custom made with a special layer of rubber that makes the hose bouth stronger and more flexible without any hardness.
