All medical aspirants must meet the NEET 2023 qualifying requirements, according to the NationalTestingAgency (NTA).APDF information brochure with the most recent and revised NEETeligibility requirements for the 2023 session will be posted at neet.nta.nic.in.The date of the NEET UG 2023 exam is May 7. Candidates who are registered for the medical entrance exams should be fully aware of the NEET 2023 eligibility requirements.Aspirants can only take the admission exam if they meet the NEETeligibility requirements.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.

NEET 2023 Eligibility- Qualifying Codes

When completing the application form, candidates for NEET 2023 must select the NEET qualification codes for the qualifying exam. Below are details about the NEET 2023 qualification codes.

Code 01:

This code must be chosen by all students who will sit for the Class 12 board exam in 2023 and are awaiting their board results. However, these applicants must have finished their class 12 as specified by the requirements before being admitted; if not, they will be denied.

Code 02:

Candidates must select this code if they are preparing for the Class 12 exam, also known as the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), which follows nearly 12 years of serious study and is analogous to the higher/senior secondary examination.

The latter two years of this study must contain science courses like physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and mathematics, as well as any other elective fields with English as a core subject, according to the National Council of Educational Research andTraining (NCERT).This code must be chosen by applicants who finished high school in 2022 or earlier and have not pursued further education.

Code 03:

Candidates who successfully completed their intermediate/pre-degree examination in science at an Indian university/board or other recognized authority, with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and English as required subjects, are eligible to apply with this code.There should be a practical test in the science fields. applicants who have passed the requisite class 12 or equivalent exam administered by a state board.

Code 04:

Candidates must use this code when applying if they have passed a pre-professional/pre-medical examination after passing either the higher secondary examination, the pre-university examination, or an equivalent test in physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and English.The Pre-professional/Pre-medical examination will comprise practical assessments in these subjects and English as a required subject.

Code 05:

Candidates must select this code if they are enrolled in a three-year degree program at an accredited university that requires biology, chemistry, and physics coursework and if they have successfully completed the first year's practical exams in these subjects. Candidates should be aware that the required qualifying exam, in this case, is a University Examination. Before, they must have passed the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English qualifying exam.

Code 06:

During the application procedure, applicants must choose this code if they have passed the BSc Exam from an Indian university with at least two of the following subjects: physics, chemistry, biology, or biotechnology.Additionally, they must have passed the 10+2 qualifying exam in Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology.

Code 07:

Candidates must choose this code if they have successfully completed any other exam that has been determined to be the scope and standard equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board (years of 10+2 Study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology; which shall include practical test in these subjects). Candidates must also enter this code if they pass the qualifying exam in a foreign nation.
