STAINLESS STEEL DEBURRING AND POLISHING
When stainless steel is either machined, stamped, or molded (as in this case), the part will often have sharp edges and a dull surface finish. This part requires a soft edge with a bright, shiny finish. The first step was to deburr the part and get a uniform matte finish. A vibratory tumbling process with a fast cutting Ceramic Media after just a few hours achieved the perfect finish ready for polishing. Due to the hardness of the metal, a more aggressive media was used for this first step.
