It has a series of administrative buildings surrounding the Runway that provides services and takes care of the airport operations. -Discussing this airport is directed towards a qualitative and quantitative value of municipal airports used as economic powerhouses.

Economy and Demographics: -Visitors arriving at Scottsdale Airport spent $54 million in the region. Air visitor spending supported 577 tourism industry jobs in the area. On an average day, air visitors inject $149,000 into the local economy. An overnight visiting travel party arriving by private jet will spend an average of $6,237 during their stay in the Scottsdale area. -Scottsdale is visited by domestic travelers looking for lodging and retail options. Statistics -Scottsdale hosted an estimated 4.6 million domestic overnight visitors, 1.7 million international overnight visitors, and 4.5 million domestic day trip visitors in 2018. -Through their local spending, these visitors created an annual economic impact of $3.1 billion in the City of Scottsdale. -The top ten activities for Scottsdale visitors are (in order): shopping, upscale dining, night clubs, visiting historic sites and landmarks, swimming, visiting state parks, museums, casinos, hiking, and golf. -About 68 percent of domestic overnight visitors stay in a resort, hotel, or motel in Scottsdale. Functions -Scottsdale Airport provides general aviation services - As a premier provider, it is an important economic asset for Scottsdale. - The Scottsdale Airpark is the second-largest employment center in Arizona, surrounds the airport, and features taxi lane access to the airport from private facilities through secured gates. -Scottsdale Airport is a single runway airport without commercial scheduled service, and it had 186,000 landings and takeoffs in 2019.

Working strategies -By focusing on the business corporation’s usage of the airport, Scottsdale has been able to have corporate jets as the primary users of the airport, a 37% higher percentage than any other airport in the area of Phoenix. -Securing corporations has secured employment demands and steady economic growth for Scottsdale. The Aviation Business Center -The aviation business center is the closest building resembling a terminal function to the airport. Aguadilla International Airport Location: Aguadilla, PR

Building Characteristics: -There are two terminals, one for cargo and one for passengers. -Information online about these terminals is limited. -The passenger airport only offers two gates and has expansion plans. -The passenger airport offers a coffee shop, cafeteria, a restaurant, and restrooms, and a family restroom. -FedEx mainly uses the cargo terminal.

Demographics: -The airport is used by travelers looking for economical flight deals and exotic getaways.

Working strategies -The airport has grown and provided international flights with more commercial airlines. The new airline offerings have increased the number of passengers in November and December of 2019. -The airport landed contracts with new commercial airlines due to the constant investment in expansion and renovation of the airport terminal and runways. Statistics: -Rafael Hernández Airport has an average of 47 regular passengers flights per week. -The growth since 2001 is significant, jumping in 2007 to a 500% increment.

Functions: -As the second-largest international airport in Puerto Rico, the airport acts as a bridge to provide tourism in the Northwest part of the island. - Provides aerial cargo services.
