About Kpedu
The Federation of Education in Central Ostrobothnia or Kpedu, is an educational organisation and an active participant in the development of its region.
We provide vocational education in a variety of fields: industry and logistics, construction, food and cleaning industries, business, IT and media, social and healthcare as well as natural resources. In addition, we provide liberal adult education.
We have five campuses located in the Central Ostrobothnia region in Finland: Kokkola, Kannus, Kaustinen, Kälviä and Perho.
Every year, we provide education to around 5000 vocational students.

Internationalisation is for everyone – and at Kpedu, we mean it!
At Kpedu, every student and staff member has the opportunity to participate in international activities. We offer study and work-based mobility periods abroad, international tutor training, and modules that strengthen skills for working in global environments.
Students complete work placements abroad with Erasmus+ support, and staff members travel to build partnerships, develop projects, and participate in seminars and networks. Around 200 mobility periods are carried out annually.
Kpedu is actively involved in several Erasmus+ development projects focused on shared learning and innovation. Our networks extend beyond Europe to Africa, Canada, Australia, and China.
An experienced international team ensures smooth and high-quality operations. Kpedu is a sought-after partner – each year, we welcome visitors from around the world.
