A new amenity mall, "Kirnoha Mall" has been opened at the Unversity of Tsukuba Hospital. t features a multipurpose auditorum on the second floor.
Ths auditorium ncludes a retractable seating area that can be deployed and retracted as needed. The seats usually reman in place, functioning like fixed seating. However, when a large open space is requ red, 128 seats can be retracted by pressing a remote-control switch. Ths process stacks eight rows of seats and stows them against the wall, takng approxmately 3 mnutes. The main advantage of ths fully automatic Retractable Seating System s that it can be quickly and easly operated by a single person.
