Asociace obezity a dyslipidemie

Epidemiologické, klinické i experimentální studie prokázaly významné asociace mezi množstvím i distribucí tělesného tuku a koncentracemi plazmatických lipidů a lipoproteinů (Meigs, 2008). Zvýšení hmotnosti o 10 kg je spojeno se vzestupem koncentrace LDL-cholesterolu (LDL-C) o 0,20 mmol/l a triglyceridů (TG) o 15–20 % a s poklesem HDL-cholesterolu (HDL-C) o 0,10 mmol/l (Pi-Suyner, 1995; Mach et al., 2020).
