The health and well-being of our customers, as well as all the people involved in the production of kikadu, is a matter close to our hearts. Nature and what it gives us form the basis of our entire product range. We use almost only GOTS certified organic cotton, FSCcertified wood, natural rubber and recycled materials. No pesticides, harmful dyes or hazardous chemicals are used in the entire manufacturing chain. Our products do not contain harmful residues, they are gentle and kind to the skin, so children can cuddle and play with our products without hesitation.
SICHER FÜR KINDER UND ALLE MENSCHEN, DIE AN DER HERSTELLUNG BETEILIGT SIND. Die Gesundheit und das Wohlbefinden unserer Kunden, als auch aller Menschen, die an der Produktion von kikadu beteiligt sind, ist uns eine Herzensangelegenheit. Die Natur und was sie uns schenkt, bildet die Grundlage unserer gesamten Produktpalette. Dafür verwenden wir fast ausschließlich GOTS zertifizierte Bio-Baumwolle, FSC-zertifiziertes Holz, Natur-Kautschuk und recycelte Materialien.
In der gesamten Herstellungskette kommen keine Pestizide, gesundheitsschädlichen Farben oder gefährlichen Chemikalien zum Einsatz. Global Organic Textile Standard
GOTS
Almost all our textile products are certified with the GOTS seal. However, products without the GOTS seal are no less ecological. GOTS is a textile standard. As soon as we have a combination of organic textiles with, for example, FSC-certified wood or natural rubber, GOTS certification is not possible due to the textile regulations.
GOTS is recognised as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles (clothing, home textiles, and personal care products) made from certified organically produced raw materials. It includes strict environmental and social criteria for operations along the entire textile supply chain.
Only textile products made from at least 70 % (label grade ‘made with organic*’) or 95 % (label grade ‘organic**’) certified organic raw materials can become GOTS-certified.
Fast all unsere textilen Produkte sind mit dem GOTS Siegel zertifiziert. Produkte ohne das GOTS Siegel sind aber nicht weniger ökologisch.
GOTS ist ein Textilstandard. Sobald wir eine Kombination von Bio-Textilien mit beispielsweise FSCzertifiziertem Holz oder natürlichem Kautschuk haben, ist eine GOTS Zertifizierung aufgrund der Textilregularien nicht möglich.

The GOTS prohibits the use of hazardous chemicals throughout the manufacturing chain. All chemicals are subject to strict requirements regarding degradation, elimination and toxicity. All waste water must be treated. This protects workers, the environment and water resources.
