Pratt & Whitney, a recognized leading producer of the world's most powerful jet engines, is looking for dedicated individuals to support our organization. Location for the position is open;( travel is essential to the role, equating to about 90%). Specifically, you will support the US North East (potential location will be White Plains, NY) performing mobile repair team activities in North East, and elsewhere as required. Refurbishment and return to service of engines, modules and components (bench work) Perform mobile repair team activities Hangar and field support work, air frame interface . Accomplish a wide range of tasks including: Direct customer interface Engine trouble shooting assistance Basic Qualification: High School Education Airframe & Powerplant license plus 6 plus years Aviation maintenance experience ​US Citizenship, due to Government Contracts Preferred Qualifications: Shop/Bench refurbishment experience Prior PT6, JT15D, PW300 and PW500 shop and field experience Proven verbal and written communication skills P&WC powered Airframe experience required Also preferred: Heavy hangar/FBO/field experience - rigging, R&I, MRP's, aircraft interface Excellent customer service skills Four year degree in Aviation Maintenance Management Number of Openings 1 United Technologies Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
