HI-FERNIE RAGING ELK HOSTEL Nestled on the southern tip of the Canadian Rockies, Fernie boasts 29ft of snow annually! Enjoy five bowls of alpine skiing, two world class cat-skiing operations, dog sleighing and snowmobiling. New this year, polar peak lift will give Fernie Alpine Resort a whooping 3,550 vertical feet of legendary snow fun, bringing the total number of marked runs up to 140—the most in the Canadian Rockies! In summer, enjoy an array of mountain biking trails, spectacular hiking and whitewater rafting.
