Sept - Dec 2026

Community Benefit Society Komedia Bath has been part of the city’s cultural fabric since 2008, and in 2019 we became one of the first UK venues to transfer into community ownership. As a Community Benefit Society, we exist to serve our community, not to generate private profit, with our 227 Members each having a real say in how the venue is run. This model keeps us rooted in Bath, accountable to our community, and focused on values that matter: keeping prices fair, nurturing new talent, supporting accessibility and inclusivity, collaborating with other local organisations, and protecting our venue for the long term. Your feedback is always welcome email us at info@komediabath.co.uk

Welcome to our September to December programme – possibly our liveliest yet – cementing the venue’s reputation as Bath’s best night out. This autumn’s comedy line-up brings a wealth of talent to the stage, with Laura Smyth debuting Born Aggy alongside tour shows from Larry Dean and Paddy Young, both fresh from the set of the new Saturday Night Live UK. On the music front, Glastonbury rockers Reef headline a season that also features General Levy, one of the most in-demand MCs around, and a stand-out tribute to Joni Mitchell from singer-songwriters Jesca Hoop and Lail Arad, joined by special guests. Cabaret returns too, as Komedia launches a new partnership with the renowned Hundred Watt Club, promising an evening that’s equal parts risqué, ravishing and downright ridiculous. And as the year draws to a close, the festive season arrives in style with Komedia Comedy Club’s Christmas specials, The Wurzels Annual Christmas Show, and a riotous interactive gameshow hosted by comedian Jarred Christmas and beatboxer Hobbit, plus special guests along for the ride. All this and so much more! So jump in, pick a show, book your tickets and support Bath’s community-owned arts venue.

Access Komedia is committed to being accessible to all. As a multi-use venue, our shows have different set-ups – from theatre-style rowed seating, to cabaret tables, and standing rock gigs – but we have taken steps to make all our events accessible. We can accommodate wheelchair users at every event, and we offer complimentary tickets for Personal Assistants to accompany customers who would otherwise be unable to attend the event upon request. We offer British Sign Language interpretation for many of our popular events including bi-monthly at our Komedia Comedy Club.

We offer concessionary tickets for selected shows to Students, Emergency Services, Social Workers, NHS Staff, Charity Workers, Blue Badge Holders, people in receipt of Pension Credit, Universal Credit, Income Support or Job Seekers allowance. Visit our website or contact our Box Office to find out more.

Venue Restoration Levy All tickets for professional shows at Komedia Bath include a £1 venue restoration levy, solely dedicated to the repair and upkeep of our 110-year-old building. As costs rise and the venue ages, this small contribution will help us preserve Komedia for today’s audiences and for generations to come.
