A MESSAGE FROM MS SARAH CHESWORTH, HEAD OF SECONDARY

As the intense, two-year IGCSE courses wrap up, I’m sure all Form 5 students are breathing a sigh of relief and looking forward to a much-deserved summer break. The IGCSE years have been the toughest academic challenge yet, and in some ways, the variety of subjects makes them even more demanding than what lies ahead. I hope everyone can look back on these past two years with pride, remembering all the hard work, ups and downs, and successes.
The end of Form 5 is a big milestone in any student’s life. School, as they know it, is changing, and exciting new freedoms are on the horizon. Now, they can really dive into the subjects they’re passionate about. Whether students are staying at KTJ for Sixth Form or moving on, we wish them all the best in the next chapter of their educational journey.
We’re honoured to have been trusted to support them through such important moments, and we’re incredibly proud of everything they’ve achieved. KTJ is a special place, and I hope students, whether leaving us today or continuing with us in the Sixth Form, will always cherish their time here.

GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP
The theme for our Form 5 Graduation Ceremony is Global Citizenship. Our aim is to prepare students to become members of a global community in a fast-paced and interconnected world. At the same time, we value the rich diversity of our school community, display mutual respect for culture and traditions, promote the importance of wellbeing, and champion sustainability.
Our thanks to Form 5 student, Cedric Tan Xuan Ming, who was responsible for the graphic design of the Form 5 Graduation Ceremony. Cedric was selected after he won the runner-up prize in the International Mother Language Day poster competition. His impressive illustration depicts diversity and the inclusive nature of our community through the KTJ graduates, whilst the vibrant green colours, trees and solar panels represents our commitment to sustainability and protection of the natural environment.
