About Us WE’RE THE NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK, AND WE ARE SO HAPPY TO BE HERE. Kununurra Sun was created with a vision to inspire, update and inform the community of Kununurra. We are a free, monthly magazine dedicated to sharing uplifting stories while supporting small business and events. We also want to celebrate the diverse characters and cultures that make Kununurra the amazing community we call home. Our aim is to ensure Kununurra and it’s people are celebrated and the town is put on the map as a kind, inclusive and adventurous community. Kununurra Sun will be distributed throughout Kununurra, Wyndham and into Halls Creek, with the plan to extend distribution to tourist hot spots when the dry starts including accommodation houses in Kununurra, at Lake Argyle Resort and El Questro. For those who can’t get their hands on in town, Kununurra Sun is also avaiable on a subscripton basis, where we post out a copy to our subscribers each month. Kununurra Sun is 100% per locally and independently owned - something we are very proud of.
